Rojoanna, I too going to change EO and oil filter, when you get back, maybe the two of us can go down together to change. I just read the service manual, when changing oil filter, the oil replaced must be 2800ml instead of 2300ml.

Cheers

:btw: do we need a "special tool" to remove the oil filter...?

From the looks of the schematics I have, looks like the oil filter is just held in by the compression of a spring, so I don't think we need tools, anyway, oil filter wrenches are dirt cheap anyway bro.

Anyway, I just changed the crankcase bolts to stainless steel ones, and it looks wicked!

Hi,

I think I will leave it to the shop to do, last few times I did it myself I really made a big mess with the old EO, and I am just plain lazy these days.

Cheers

How much cheaper will it be? My bike is kind of making noise, mentally. I mean. So unless it is confirmed, I will do so with my regular mechanic, Mr Han at Guan Hoe.

Yeah I will get my oil and air filer from Rowell or desker road. Cables too.

Let me know soon. Thanks Rajoana.

Sorry Rajoana. My mobile is still under repair. Can;t find daniel's number.

Regarding the EO, why don't u guys try the fully syn oil from Carrefour? Brand is Total. It's fully syn and bloody cheap. SGD 6 per bot. I changed my EO just today with that as I plan to change my EO every 2000km. Fresh oil is always better than the best oil. This is my 2nd time using it. I have to say it's not that bad, quite smooth.

Have fun on sat morning.

No prob. Got in touch with him already. E.O. 6 per bottle for fully?

thts like the price of mineral oil. But fully normally shld be able to last 5000-10000km depending on the bikes make. Wat made consider to change every 2000km?
