No prob. Got in touch with him already. E.O. 6 per bottle for fully?

thts like the price of mineral oil. But fully normally shld be able to last 5000-10000km depending on the bikes make. Wat made consider to change every 2000km?

In reply, i just felt since it's so cheap for the EOs. Fresh oil is always better than any used oils, ask any engineers. They will probably say the same.

So how was the servicing trip to your JB mechanic? Oh yes, how was the ouch as you mentioned you also had to renew rd tax and insurance just like me. I think I blew in total SGD 550. Really ouch for my wallet. But at least now my bike is serviced and really to be rode for the next year.

However Mr Han says that I need to do my valve clearance which was causing the sluggish response in my bike. Hai... maybe after my next trip. I may plan a overnite weekend trip to Gadek hotspring, Melaka or Sungit Ringgit, JB in mid dec. Anyone interested???

k not bad la...coming back time had to wait for an hr to clear the jam on sg side. n the "ouch" ....feeling it now..n mine only can ride till end of may next yr only

daniel was telling me tht his bike was more responsive aft changing to rock oil semi sythetic using 15-50. For myself i was using this Enoc n now back to Rock Oil Fully Synthetic feel better response too.

I suggest u should get yar valve clearance done...n have a healthy bike for the trip. Abt the trip i was thinking of a round trip like up by east coast using east-west (greek) highway n come back by nshw or west coast.

wat u think abt this?

mid december might be not possible was thinking of last week of dec.

Good to hear that both your bikes are in good shape.

Valve clearance is more for bike performance. It will not cause any disorder to the bike. Just my damn power comes irregularly. Weak at pick-ups, strong at above 6 rpm.

As for the coast to coast trip, wait for me. I can't do it this year. I say we should spend a good one week to do that properly. Ride a couple of hundreds kms every day, rest and relax, chilling out with the locals.

Best chance for me is in March 07. Nonetheless I have been dying to do this coast to coast thingy. What say you?

HI guys,

Valve clearance at Guan Hoe eunos is ard $40?Am I rite? Can anyone tell me what the usual price.

THks!

valve clearance...for $40???

Though i never done it b4...i dun think its tht cheap. Cos its opening the top of yar engine, change gasket, maybe valve seals n might have to replace some other worn out parts too. Frm my guess shld be more than 200-400. The best jus call guan hoe to get a quotation la.

no known common problems. Each bike maybe subjected to wear n tear to different parts. Like engine compression n soft rear suspension most of the time.

Between 80 to 100. Guan Hoe's Mr Han should do a nice job of it. Cheers.
