Welcome amd! I wish you and your bike many long distances spent together in future. By the way guys, I just ordered a GPR pipe from JR.

Cost me $550/- for the pipe.

The inspection ($50/-) and the installation ($35/-) will be done later. Can't wait!

By the way I am Mr Zh4n, accidently used my bro's account:

You can go to Bikeworkz, 157 Kaki Bukit Ave 1 #01-00 Shun Li Ind Pk (Which I recommend). He quoted me $500 and will do the installation for you (not sure if FOC). The pipe is really bassy and quite loud with the baffle on (and even louder with the baffle off). Definitely a great compliment to the riding experience. There is no welding to be done. Just a simple chop off and with a C-clamp, the pipe is fitted on.

Hey guys my bike is leaking coolant from the engine compartment and just below the headers. And it is quite bad.... Must be metal fatigue which gives way under heat. Anyone has encountered this problem before?

hi Mr Zhan,

thanx 4 d reply, but out of curiosity am wondering after fixing the pipe, did u send it for inspection and is it LTA compliant.Cos as what i know, any modification towards the exhaust system must be approved by LTA.I was failed during my last inspection cos i had used a gsxr endcan and d inspector adv me to get it change.

It's totally compliant. The bikeshop will issue the specs sheet of the exhaust which comes with it. This states how the exhaust is installed and is specific for what motorcycle. After I installed the exhaust I proceeded to the inspection centre right away and with a $50 inspection fee, got it cleared. And it's totally legal.

Certain manufacturers have made their products (some models only in some brands) LTA compliant, such as GPR. If you are buying an exhaust from a shop make sure you ask them if it is LTA compliant. If not when you meet ROV, :deal:.

I have leak before due to corrode inside the coolant, maybe ur coolant pipes old too.u go change the 5 coolant rubber pipe for safety. Better go check with some mechanic

the VV model is after 1997. Mostly late FP to FQ plates, have not seen more Bandit 400s on FR plates onwards.

Hi guys. Onebody can tell me where to get a bellypan for bandit?:cheeky:

I bought a $30 super-four belly pan and trimmed it to fit onto the bike. D.I.Y. Otherwise u might have to get it online. Ask AJ where he got his, it looks good.

Is there alot of trimming to be done? I've also got to replace my front brake disc. Any suggestions?o_O

Slight trimming at the back of the belly pan has to be done as the main stand will hit the bellypan when it is retracted. For your disc brake, you could try bike shops like Universal Motors or Bike workz if you want a new front brake disc. Or maybe you could try the scrap yards...

As you can see in the last pic the mounting is a C-clamp where the end can and the header is sealed with a rubber seal.
