Mine is FM plate liao. I love my bike. The bike is in very good condition, but unfortunately it's heading for the scrap yard 1.5 later. The previous owner only renew a 5 yrs COE.

mine is FR registered 1999, but 1994 year of manfacture... 5 years stuck in a motorbike shop haha poor thing. 9 years old going 10 soon. Coe next year

 

how about this, how old are you guys? since most bandit appreciators in singapore are well uncle-ish lets break the sterotype lol. (or reinforce it )

Mine is FM plate, 13-year old, low mileage aka OPB (Off Peak Bike), use it on weekends and occassional ride to work only.

 

This bike rocks; just feed petrol, change filters and EO only. Only major replacement is CDI and ignition switch.

 

Just changed my 9-year old Michelin Macadam tyres to Pilot Activ. Damage: $300 inclusive of front & rear valves.

I enjoyed it very much! Cheap to maintain bullet-proof engine. Battery can last easily for more than 4 years, engine starts at first crank. Actually, I have been toying with the idea of changing to DR-Z. With current bike price & COE, guess I am shelving the plan for time being. That's why I just changed my tyres in preparation to ride it for another 2 years.

 

By then, your Bandit is about time to scrap. LOL.

as long you happy, u take gd care of it... treat it well, frequent maintanence when required.... there should be no prob..it will do well for you...... Bandit is a solid bike be it the 400-1250cc... only in s'pore ppl dun know and they go for stylo and bike that popular like fazer... but the worth is still Bandit.... so many prob with fazer.

like the end2006-2007 model of fazer1000 there are some with hairline crack to the main frame... feul consumption for fazer1 is like drinking water if go touring every 200 must pump petrol.. that wat you get if you want a stylo,popular bike.. .
