I believe the DID X-Ring(Gold) chain is about $150, and the 2 sprockets are another $150.

This is the clearest pic of the chain n sprocket that I had.

I clocked 268km before swtiching to reserve today, quite a improvement from 240km previously. I think it improves because I pump my rear tire to 36psi 2 weeks ago when I started to pillion.

But 36psi when solo riding was quite bumpy when going over rough terrain.

Brudder go thailand and respray your bandit la, ask if can spray the frame to black. Alternatively use red/white paint scheme instead of blue/white.

paint scheme looks good:thumb: looks italian. Still, what can be done to make it go faster? Besides pipes, filters, & small fixups....Are there any devilish parts around? In Thailand for instance? I dunno...maybe racing camshafts or carburettors?

Posted

Problem:

I have to leave SG for six month, overseas Industrial Attachment (IA).

Solution:

1) sell the bike

2) lay up the road tax but pay for parking charges

3) add a sub rider and he maintian

was thinking of laying the bike up but anyone knows what care to be taken for the bike:

1) battery need to be removed?

2) 4T engine oil removed or new?

3) petrol tank kept full or empty?

4) etc?

Thank you for the advise!
