just curious, comparing the vibrations of hte bike at 100km/h and 200km/h.... how much %% difference u all feel there are???

coz, i dont really dare to go faster than 200km/h... firstly its veri fast and difficult to handle, 2ndly e bike vibration quite substantial compared to 100 - 140km/h which is like nth...

Life is not the amount of breath u take, but the moments that take ur breath away.

It is not how hard you fall, its how fast you get up.

Try 38 on the rear ,keep the front at 32... you'll feel more planted. if it doesn't work you may need to adjust pre-load settings of your suspension according to your weight ( If you weigh below 90 kilos stock settings should be fine work on the compression and the rebound settings to your comfort)

If you want a good ride, you just gotta find time to trail n error. There are lotsa guides online teaching you how to adjust your suspensions ... they are very useful.

LIFE IS YOURS... DO WHAT YOU DO BEST!

hi guys,

For those riding CBR 1000 2008, this message is for you. Me and DenverDio are ordering Hotbodies Read Hugger for our bikes from Bike LAb who are distributers for Hotbodies(USA) in Singapore. We hope to solve the irritating problem of mud splashing updwards onto our bikes undertail and shock linkage. The rear hugger we are ordering can be seen in the link below. We are ordering the unpainted version which is only $79.95USD, as it is $100USD cheaper than the painted version. We intend to save money by either diy paint with spray can ($5) or getting it professionally painted in Singapore($40). It makes more sense then to pay $100USD for the painted version! Prices can be seen in the link provided below at the official Hotbodies website.

http://www.hotbodiesracing.com/en/prod_324_huggers_honda_2008-09_cbr1000rr

If you are interested to get a rear hugger for youself, you may want to join in our order so that we all can get further discount by mass order. Call me at 81020410. Right now we are awaiting qoutation from Bikelab. It should not be too different from the price online -$79.95USD. Pls note this is not an advert for bikelab. I am just posting here to benefit all CBR riders. No commission whatsoever goes to myself or Dino. thanks.

You can set it yourselves. There is alot of website teaching you on how to set up the suspension. Here is one of the link, CLICK HERE. I got the tools to setup the suspension. If you want, you can come over my house to do it. Getting the ride sag is normally based on a standard guide line but compression and rebound setting normally is based on trial and error. Save yourselves the money and DIY! :cheeky:
