Ed, CBRMike, you guys always want to come, but when we organize, always no where to be seen.

Rapper, I'm ok on Sat. Don't restrict to Blade only, so Ash also can come. Ash, can join? Make it earlier, so Abang Chilly can come.

Ken, you shouldn't be working by then?

_3n3mY_, Ken's pipe is of course legal. There's absolutely nothing wrong with your speakers, Ken's pipe is indeed very soft. You're not the only one who hardly noticed. Hahahaha.

Kornology, coming to JB to join us? You should be able to get come from KL in 2 hrs?

Anyone interested in this? Sounds like fun. Not too ex also.

Dear Tashi,

How time flies when you are having fun! We?re going to be three this year!! So, to celebrate, we will be having our 3rd Annual Family Day. As before, it will be an overnight event with lots of food, fun and friends (and family of course!). The tentative details for our family day is as follows:

Date: September 3rd & 4th, 2005 (Saturday & Sunday)

Venue: to be announced

Cost: about RM60 per pax

Itinerary

Details of the itinerary and activities for the Family Day will be posted soon. However, the general plan is to ride to the venue on Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon (2nd group for those who are working on Sat), have a nice BBQ dinner and ride back Sunday after breakfast / brunch.

Venue

The venue for this year?s Family Day is not confirmed yet. We are open to suggestions from members. However, the venue must take into account the following:

1. Must be south of KL (for the benefit of our SG members)

2. Must have parking for 30 ? 40 bikes (covered if possible)

3. Must have facilities for activities (beach, pool etc. etc.)

4. Must have area for BBQ

5. Must be available on the date above

We have proposed venue as;

1. Kuantan - mr Logistics

2. Cherating - mr prez

3. Gunung Ledang - mr Logistics

5. Frasers Hill - mr vise

Deadline for suggestion of venue is July 18th, 2005 (this Monday). We will then need to recce the new venue by July 24th, 2005 and confirm booking of the venue latest by July 31st 2005.

If there are no viable suggestions, we will have the event in PD at the same location as last year.

Cost

As before, the cost will cover:

1. Accommodations

2. BBQ dinner*

3. Special Edition Family Day T Shirt

* Please note that the cost will not cover booze. Booze is B.Y.O. (bring/buy your own).

Interested?

Members who are keen to attend this year?s Family Day, please put your name down in the list below, the number of pax attending and t-shirt size. Please also indicate if you are bringing your children along, as it will assist us in planning the accommodation. As before, we will try our best to give everyone a room (on a share basis), but if that is not possible, then priority will be given to those with kids and to our lady members. Details for accommodations will only be available once we confirm the venue.

As a sign of commitment, we will require members to pay the full amount to our treasurer latest by July 22nd, 2005.

Please note that the $$ are not refundable for withdrawals after July 22nd, 2005. You will still get the t-shirts. We are not trying to make any money from your $$ and will try our best, on a case by case basis, to return the $$ if possible. But if the $$ has already been committed to pay for the accommodation, t-shirt and/or food, then, you've just bought yourself a RM60 t-shirt (special edition if it will make you feel any better!). This will be at the discretion of the organisers.

Also, we are doing this at cost, so the club does not make any money. If there are extras, we will put it in our club coffer for future activities or refund the $$ to you.

More details will be provided soon, so keep your eyes on this thread.

I hope to see many of you at our Family Day. Lets make it another successful event to celebrate another year in our Club?s history, to get to know each other better and to remember those that have moved on.

Paisey, I only go track for touring, better check with Raptor.

No one else coming this Sat? By Fri noon have to call Jeff the cook to prepare special meal.

A good tip for 1000RR owners. I was told the bike charges only when needle hits 3000rpm and above.

In the morning when starting up, don't idle too long before you start riding. For me, I start riding slowly when it's around 40dc.

Nothing to paiseh about bro.

We are not pros, just track enthusiasts only. We race around the tracks to for the sheer joy of riding fast in a safe enviroment, no mad taxis or pedestrians. Also to scare the sh*t out of ourselves and scream like 'schoolgirls under the helmet' when we desperately try to scrub off the speed at the end of the straights with the corners rushing up to meet us. Basically, all this done for shits and grins.

This Saturday... 9 July going for the 10AM slot.

As usual meeting at GP Esso 7.30AM.

Breakfast at Perling and then to the track.

It is time for me to test the Metzeler Rennsports.
