how much mileage do u guys get on a full tank, seems like this baby has a big appetite for petrol :giddy:

about 240km reverse on... yours?? is your plate fz3xxx? u malay?? :smile:

Last sat my bike reached a year old & that means NO MORE WARRANTY !

Yesterday as i was leaving home from work, my bike won't start !

It sounded as the batt was flat.Push start the bike to get it started.

Reached home, off the engine & tried to get it started again but the batt was

flat again.Called Ken to asked him about the problem as he encounterd the

same problem before.Ken said 'Confirmed batt flat & magnetic coil burned !'

 

Called my mechanic about the problem & he too said 'I can confirmed 90%

magnetic coil burned !' Anyway, to make it short, they're both correct !

Why must it happened just after 2 days after the warranty expired :cry:

2004 CBR1000RR

 

My figures before I had the K&N filter put in.

 

14.4 km/l (M'sia V-Power)

15.9 km/l (Petronas)

16.8 km/l (M'sia Esso F1)

 

V Power = 19x km

Petronas = 21x km

Esso F1 = 23x km

 

Now with K&N filter, if the filter is clean, I hit reserve at 20x km, if it's dirty, 22x km till I hit reserve.

What's the cause for this burning?

 

Even when warranty period is over, this should be covered if it's a defect. How come Boon Siew didn't issue a recall? Maybe should pay Taichi Master a visit and disturb that K3 guy with immitation Arrow exhaust this Sat. :lol:

Hello, your made in China pipe can't even kill the stock pipe. Should have just treated us to a nice buffet lunch at Shangri-La.

So far, my bike has hit over 34000 km. Should I be worried? I ride it everyday. Your bike had this problem?

My mechanic told me he changed 2 magnetic coils a few mths back.

Same problem as mine.I remembered in 1000rr.net there's a couple of

owners with the same problem.Anyway my mileage for 1 yr = 14k km.

From this forum Ken , Ideal , Afdah & myself all got the same problem.

That was burned magnetic coil !

But luck was on Afdah's side coz his bike still covered by warranty

& got changed by BS FOC.
