I had seen my graph before and the hp graph is smooth throughout the range.

On the torque graph, there is a flat spot(not surge), from 4k to 5k rpm.

Done at loois factory dyno, my bike is stock at that time, figures are 152hp & 80.41 torque.

since u r comparing the rr4 with the 04r1 (not bike biased here, just normal discussion), maybe u would like to read the bikes performance magazine of this month issue, something happen to the rider while doing something and what they suspect cause it. of course, rider skill plays a part.

The footpeg of the rr4 is raise higher to suit the track, and the 04r1 is lowered for better road comfort. so i dun noe why u have this idea that the rr4 is build a lesser track focus bike... anyway, u can always change the footpeg. hahaha, i noe this is not what u mean lah. all i can say is user friendly doesn't mean not track focus. infact a more composed bike, make a better track bike.

The heat from the rider point of feel:

i noe the bike is hot, but i didn't feel it much. infact, this bike is cooler than my previous rvf. maybe due to not only the tank is not metal, but oso becos there is a plastic padding along the frame to further protect our legs.

And tashi, u noe what, today during jams to school, my fan wasn't open at all. the engine ice is definitely working man. hehehehe.

My gf got same comments as of tashi pillion feedback.

but u can ask ISE how he felt on my bike with bermudas and shoes without socks.

ISE r u there?

Handling? hehehe, i got a lot to say about it.

But no matter which bike u take, u will not be wrong.

Infact, i nearly bought the 04r1.:thumb:

Yes I'm here.Anyway that time when Ken pillioned me.I did not felt any heat at all from the exhaust.Furthermore it was in the afternoon and we were caught in slow moving traffic along Orchard and Serangoon Rd there.I even tried putting my hand near the exhaust and I can't feel any heat at all.

Btw Ken,any idea when CBR600RR coming?The pricing?

jus wanna add that in term of handlin n speed out of corners..... its e best..... i haf try 04 R1 n ZX10...... they dun give u the confidence in goin low n to throtte hard out of corners...... high speed bends are a great advantage 4 us...... i haf try wif my friens frm here 2 kulai..... they were amazed by the stabilty the blade have......

Have to agree somewhat.

Coming on stock settings, the R1 tends to be a bit twitchy accelerating out of tight corners. I suspect that it may be down to the suspension not set up totally right for my weight. I already experienced a bit of rear-wheel slide while gassing it out of tighter bends. Not a very pleasant feeling...

Also, the front wheel seems to be juuuust a little bit vague turning into (ironically) slow corners like traffic light or 90 degree turns. It feels like the front wheel is not biting in... Hell... sometimes I think I can't even feel the front end. Maybe the fork is rebounding/compressing too little or too much... so no bite.

I dunno... Some guy suggested letting off one click on the fork rebound damping... not too sure, have to check with some suspension setting websites for more info. What do u guys think?

The CBR600RR is a revamp so might got to wait till march before it reach our shore.

The pricing... should be high as the shops always file their knife to the sharpest when it comes to new model.

Although u didn't feel the heat, but we did get complaints on heat too.

So all i can say is maybe the guys got higher heat tolerants. ha! :cheeky:

So u set ur mind on the CBR600RR huh.

and buzzbean is on the 636 man, just dun noe whether he can wait till the 05 come anot.

But if is me, i will definitely wait.

Whats ur weight man?

what about other 04r1 rider got to say about it?

sure can find other guy about the same weight as u.

if they didn't have this problem, and assume there's nothing wrong with the bike, maybe its ur riding posture?

try putting ur weight on the front plus bend ur elbow more might help solving the weird feelings u've got when slow turns?

or is it that u only got this weird feelings when the tires is not warm up enough?

or is it the same turns or corners that u got the feeling, might be due to the road condition then?

About the rear wheel slides, although suspension settings is a factor, maybe tires not warm up enough?

when corner got slide half of ur moon n leg out? more stable

tyre pressure?

i m using 34 front 38 rear. weight 70 - 72kg. depending on how many crunches n hello panda i ate. :cheeky:

Change the outing to local so that more ppl can join as not all can go 2nd link.

After that we will proceed to the cafe as scouted by Tashi and think he wanna pay for our drink. 3 cheers for him!~ :goodluck:

I will contact u guys on sat to finalized everything.

Make urself free on Sunday wor.

Yesterday AT and I scouted the place, the bistros are closed on Sundays. Food court closes at 8. No point going there unless you want to take some nice pix.

I always thought behind MOE is a jungle, but it's like a small futuristic town there. The buildings are very nice to look at, and anyone can appreciate the architecture. When we were walking back to our bikes, the modern looking bikes just blends into the surrounding. You can almost shoot a whole movie there about bikes, murder, fembots with cone shaped bras walking around ... the grass patch even shoots mist. :lovestruck:

I suggest everyone comes hungry, then move off for some 16" pizzas. :hungry:

like that ah, we still meet up at usual place and time then got eat then maybe go take a look at the futureistic place for some photo session for our chilly. then find a place to have a drink bah.

By the time we get there, might be a bit dark for my T1. Anyone got a SLR with a heavy duty flash?

I'll bring my T1 anyway ... and 2 ice cream cones. We'll need to stick em on somebody's chest. Anybody wants to be a fembot?
