MotoGp will be live on chn 23 ESPN from 0400 am monday morning

the usual 125 250 etc will commence sunday nite 2359hours

Thanks for the tip Speed. Surprisingly today there was no jam at around 7pm.

Just some things to think over before switching the exhuast systems on the 08 Blade. Got these from 1000rr.net.

 

I have had some interesting news from my friend who just attended the Honda course for this bikes maintenance. The exhaust has 2 valves (1 pressure valve) and Honda say that any replacement exhuast should incorporate these or you will notice a drop in performance. (Full systems excluded) To maintain the performance will involve a PC and a DynoJet kit.

 

Looking at today's Motorcycle News in the UK, they run a story which appears to confirm this. They say "The Fireblade has two exhaust valves - one is electronically activated at 3800rpm in gears one to three, and then at 5600rpm in gears four to six. The second valve is pressure activated at 7000rpm. The two valves regulate back pressure. Removing the silencer takes out both of these and, according to Honda, could affect the Fireblade's power curve."

I think I'm gonna give the 08 Blade a miss this year now that I got the car. Fixing an aftermarket exhaust is a headache, need to find something to cover up the gap below as well.

 

Hopefully that elusive V4 Honda sportsbike will show up Sep this year. So many years after this thread was started, still waiting for it.

All, I have ordered the raceshield for my 08 Blade, since I am not getting it, it's up for grabs. I ordered during the SBF anniversary, so the discount still applies. SRP is S$580, after discount is $514. Worth getting, if not I won't order, heh.

Wah Tash... now I know you're really serious... :faint:

 

Suddenly seem to want to spend more time to do up the car. But good thing the 06 Blade is serving me well, so get to keep it. Blade after Blade after Blade, want something different from Honda. If I switch to the CB1000R, it's like changing to a same bike, but with different looks. Hopefully will see a new modern V Twin or V4 sportsbike from Honda.

Yeah, riding for sure. Rooms are ex, but I got corporate rates, about S$120 per night, not too bad, considering it's F1 weekend. Still have 2 more King Deluxe rooms with breakkie. If you wanna come, just put you name down, otherwise I have to release those rooms on Thu noon.

The 08 White Blade from Japan has got some metallic sheen, like pearl white, nice.
