Hi bro, blackhonda..

for bigger cc bikes there are 2 types of packages, the 5pellets & the 8 pellets.

I bought the 5pellets type about 2 weeks back. So far after monitoring the past 2 weeks, there is a slight improvement in the fuel consumption about 8L to 10L. Performance wise, only slightly noticeble. not very much.

yeah i check the website, so far for our bike it recomends the 5 pellet.

but the seller is trying to convince me to get the 8 pellet

which i have not decided yet

Anyway just wanna share wat happen today.after my night shift this morning

i notice the cranking of my bike was kinda weak but somehow i can still have it start and warm it up b4 proceeding to my gf place. den ard 20 min later i couldnt get it start and the digital readings all were wipe off. so had no choice i push start the bike and set off to hospital for my appt b4 doing another push start straight to the my regular place at Ubi. the boss charged my batt and den checked my coil and it was confirmed... coil cooked again after replacing it under the recall excercise 4 months ago. he ask me to check whether i still can have it replace under the recall excercise + 7 years extended warranty... if all fails he can get it at a cheaper price.

By then its 3plus....and with me so blur fcuk cant think straight after night shift, i sms Tashi and yeah thanks to him he actually advice and reminded me not to waste money andgo and chase after the fella who did the coil replacement ....

So i called them up, they keep on transfering me from one line to another until the 5th CSO actualy listened to my complain. She actualy ask me why, what and how i noe its the coil. keep on beating around the bush and ask me to bring my bike over but NO PROMISE they will replace it.

Only when i mentioned that i was refered to them last sept 2007 by LTA officer Mr Andy Choo, who informed they have to change the coil for the recall exercise and provide me 7 years extended warranty, she relented and say OK please bring my bike down and she will get the mechanic checked and replaced it.

went there at 430 and they immediately, checked and confirmed the problem.

the mechanic even say this bike is given extended warranty for 7 years provided no tampering with the wiring system.

At least now i can breathe easily after hearing that... so im still covered for the next 6 yrs... dont have to think so much to burn my pockets everytime this problem comes

So to those bros who got this problem even if its P.I and not from boon siew...

Go to LTA and let them do the chasing of the importer and claim the coils that u are entitled to from HONDA.

Ive got mine replaced twice F.O.C

Hi Blackhonda

I got a 8 pellet from the same seller, I bought it together with Ah Xiong the mechanic from Unity,

Installation which took Ah Xiong 1 hr to fix as it needs to be secured inside my tank as he said tt some buyers got their little wire cut off by it. Paid SGD15 for the installation.

1st petrol top up after the installation, I got 11.5 litre for 214km 18.6km per litre

2nd and 3rd petrol top up after the installation, I got around 24 litre for 450km

18.75 km per litre

While the 4th petrol top up, I got 11.4 litre for 219 km 19.2 km per litre

Before that I was doing high run in 2nd gear with 12 litre for 161km. 13.4 km per litre

A 38% increase compared to the pre-installation, but I was doing high run in so the increase percentage might be different if I did not do my high run in.

Sep 02 to Oct 02- Black Cagiva Planet (1 word Lousy)

Actually I prefer the Cameron Highlands twisties better. I had vertigo in the morning, it was mild, and the last thing you want to do when you have vertigo is to get on the bike. Still have it now. :(

And finally, in other news ...
