Woopa!! Cbr1000rr Riders

Hey CF, after looking at the box, there's a pack of screws and latches that is required, it would be tough to dupicate those as well, looks like I'm keeping it. Probably will use some paint remover as the underside is matte.

 

Tell me about it man. It is a looooong wait. Mine's coming in Aug as well. I've got all accessories, new jacket and everything on standby.

 

Mind sharing where you got the aftermarket from? The stock one looks almost useless to me.

 

I've been doing a lot of overseas scouting for parts too. Haven't actually purchased anything yet though. Just happy to get my hands on the bike first.

HKL lor.. took me quite a while too though.

 

The bike definately feels better after getting a proper AFR map.

Went to PG today as well lol.. was having a hard time controlling the bike.

 

Kinda not used to it when i only get to use 3 gears for 90% of the track. and 4 gears on the 2nd straight.

Coz that time no map somemore remove silencer lol.. so

custom mapping for the pc cannot use forever..

have to remap after some time of usage..

the reason is wear and tear of engine, slight change in injector diameter, air filter condition..

Yeah, the stock one is totally useless. Unless you have raceshield fitted on the underside, it will blast pebbles to the under tail. Plus if you go over puddles, that's it, **** water splashes everywhere.

 

A few sites uses the same eStore engine, but this is the only one I found that offers discounts.

go for a air filter check..

if aftmkt, have it clean. if stock, replace it if too dirty..

have throttle synco done..

this will help in fc.. provided the mod done to the bike is not intensive.

for FI bike, the mechanism that control the fuel and air path and direct them into the combustion chamber is call throttle body. for carb bike, is the carb.

 

since there are 4 pistons in the engine, throttle synco have to be done to ensure all 4 injectors in the throttle body provide the same amount of fuel/air into the combustion chamber.

cos i compare the price supera got for his pc5 and custom mapping with mine, my side slightly cheaper..

so can intro to the shop in future he needs a remap.
