hi guys just wanna chech what engine oil works well with our bikes and wheres a good and reasonable place to do our servicing?

The Blade likes thin oil, personally I use Maxima Ultra 15w40, it can last 5000km where as most other EO feels shot after 3000km.

Make sure you tape up the underside of the pillion seat where the staples are exposed, otherwise it will scratch the paint on the tail.

Good luck with your ride. :thumb:

Yes!!!

My friend rides a ZX-10, his hugger is about the same size, his swingarm and tail end doesn't get dirty like ours.

300km is too soon. Hard run in only achieves about 80% of run in process. Normally I'd change to fully syn about 4000km. As long as you have frequent changes before that, even mineral oil is fine. During the run in process, use a low viscosity mineral engine oil.

I'm not gonna fab one anymore as you will need different screws and latches, the original Honda one comes with these, and they will need to be duplicated as well.

If you do not have the big hugger, the underside of the tail section will be sandblasted with pebbles. My RR8 had raceshield to protect it, but still, we would need the big hugger to prevent the splashes from dirtying the bike.

I hope to show you guys sometime next month, fingers crossed.

i think it's too soon. assume the piston rings had seated properly via hard run-in, but the transmissions and gears may not be fully or smoothly 'grinded' off. anyway its just my own opinion.

The manual says 500km, but no harm giving it more time if you are frequently changing your EO.
