No, but the staples on the underside of the pillion seat will scratch the paint underneath it. Have to use a film to protect immediately when unboxed.

 

The rear seat must be carefully removed the very 1st time delicately.

 

Use what? Black tape the staples? My previous bikes also same problem.. when remove the seats .. u see all the scratches below .. Heart pain...

I complained to Honda, so from RR8 onwards, under the rider seat is ok, but they forgot about the pillion seat. I got Raceshield to protect it. If not, just use stickers.

till date i've only seen 1 .. at jurong east area .. black red default paintwork ..

didnt get the chance to waive at him !

Juz went FJT juz now.. The guy will get back to mi on Monday for the rear hugger. The one they show mi onli blue colour. For hrc blue color scheme..
