Very nice black 2010 cbr1000rr, like the colour. :)

Btw, just to share what I have done to convert the ERP IU into portable.

This is the set up:

A break down of the cost and where to get the parts can see here.

Just another set up on where I install my ERP IU. Portable option is not for me as it too troublesome for me. :(

I know is ugly but sigh...what to do.

I wish I don't need too, but most of the carparks I go need the erp iu.

And it is very troublesome for me. :(

Why dont you do a plug-n-play type? When no use for it can unplug & keep at home? I intended to do that but in the end decided not to coz doing my riding mostly at night....

I already make it portable, but the issue is I need to take it out for the car park to sense the IU.

It can be quite troublesome to take in and out. Hence final solution is only a permanent mounting on the handle bar for me. :)

Portable would be good for people who don't go to ERP car parks or occasional ERP gantry. So leaving it in the rear seat would be fine.

Life is good.

I was in JB this morning for a morning blast. Surprisingly we missed the rain on the way up and back.

It was funny, on the way back, we saw a Malay guy wearing Raya silk on a MT-01 I think, something flew out of his pocket, not sure if it was his passport or pack of cigarettes, so I chased up to him, tried to make hand signs with my left hand, he tried to glanced at me, but probably didn't see my real intention, as the wind was pretty strong he had an open face helmet, and we were hitting about 160 then, I could see he was straining to turn his head at me, but couldn't.

He thought I was edging him on for a race and he totally went for it, at about 200, I had my right hand on the throttle, trying to match his speed, while trying to make hand signs with my left, I tell you, it wasn't easy and I gave up.

Anyway, I hope it wasn't his passport, Eid Mubarak.

Issit harder to control your bike with the installation of HRC fast throttle? Wondering whether to install or not....

It's just a matter of getting used to it. Have more situation awareness when you are using it, and don't use it on the track for the 1st time ... Lol!

Haha, I thought so too, HRC paint is too fierce, plus my exhaust note even fiercer.
