difference in size, difference in maintainence cost of krr150 and sp

hi guys.

to me the krr looks smaller than the sp. is that true? is the sp taller than the krr?? kinda important for me as im tall

also, which of the 2 is more costly to maintain per month? fuel consumption, miscelleneous problems etc? in ns now and cant afford to spend much =(

FC for Kr is usually like 250KM - some better 280KM per full tank..

 

FC for SP is usually 180km - 220KM per full tank..

both about the same lah.. i can't tell the diff between their sizes until i take a close look. For height, hard to say. Most SP and KRs have very old suspensions oready, it won't be high and will sink in when u sit on it, thus it b low.

orh. so per litre is roughly..? anyone could give me an approx amount i would have to spend a month on each? including 2t and other misc stuff. thanks!!!

i'm riding a sp... i guess u need ard $120 - $150 for petrol each mth if u pump 95... more if u use 98 or more... as for 2T, u need ard 2L of 2T per mth... hw much u spend on 2T depends on wat kind of 2T u buy... i usually buy those norm 1 which cost $6~8/L de... as for kr, u can ask sm1 who ride 1... but heard frm my frenz who ride, kr has lower maintenance coz it uses lesser 2T and petrol... good luck...

i juz tried my bike mileage... it's 22.5km/l using shell 95... mi using esso low smoke 2T which cost $5.50/l at LAB... and i'm 70% on expressway traveling at avg spd of 110... mod on my bike is a daytona fast throttle and 'tong' pipe...

i dun recommend u to use esso low smoke 2T as it doesn't sound smooth as compared 2 the shell semi-syn 2T i used previously... but anyway i'm juz using it for commuting... so it all depends on hw u wanna maintain ur ride... anyway i'm juz a noob biker... hope some pros will come in to help...

actually hor, ive been driving car for 2.5yrs and i realised that the more expensive petrols give you better mileage. for e.g. when i use V power my car can go up to 450-500km a full tank but when i use 95 it only goes 400km max. i was wondering whether this is the same for bike? cos if it is, using better grade petrol may be a financially wiser choice after doing the calculations

i'm nt v. sure too... supposingly the mileage shld b juz abit better.. but if do a calculation.. the extra mileage gain dun seem 2 b worth the excess u pay for better petrol unless u r power hungry... ha... i usually check 2T by opening my seat to check ... there is whr u fill the 2T de... 2T last ard 700+km... btw.. i thk all these mod suppose to increase fuel consumption i thk.. nt too sure though... it's done by previous owner... i'm juz a bike noob...
