Right. Tried to hit 200+kmph but then at 200, the rev limiter kicks in

so i can't go any faster. :nono:

You can tell by looking at markings on your speedo.

Jap models indicate a limit of 200kmph.

The Euro model will show much higher speed limits.

can we do something on the rev limiter to make it unrestricted?is there any way to do it?

hi is any one can give me advise where i can get crash bar for my 94 years magna?and also metzeller rear tyre ....thanks..

You can try Seng Kwang but they can be a little on the high side. Probably about S$240 I think. As for your tires, you can HKL but if you want to use a bigger size like what I did, you better head to a mech to do it as it needs a minor adjustment.

Our original rear tire spec is 150/80B15M/CTL 70V ME880 but I am currently using 170/80B15M/CTL 77H ME880. Its currently not in stock. I heard it'll be in end of this month. Do let me know if you need a mech to do it for you.

I guess you could but do you really need to go faster than 200kph?

I don't think that's cruising anymore? Besides, too much vibration

at higher speed.

Cheers.

Did your mechanic replace or mod the brakestay rod?

I read thats what you have to modify or replace to fit a wider tire.

Perhaps, you have another way?

Nice brakestay you have ... but no, all he did was put a spacer I think. This will give some space .. just nice so that it does not touch the tires.

Oh sorry. That brakestay rod is not mine............ yet.

I plan to buy one soon when i buy new rear tires.

How does the wider rear tire handle?

Well I don't really feel much different but it does look better with the wider tires.

Hi kulshadow. Great pics.

Just wanted to ask, are those plates attached to your pipes, aftermarket stuff?

I also dig your sidepanels. They look like those from the Super Magna.

Cheers.

Thanks for your compliments!

the plates are customized . .done by ex-owner .. I think his better half requested it as teh exhaust must have burnt her legs! And the side panels .. its just chrome bits stuck on it. These chrome bits are actually for cars. I think they stick it on their doors to avoid their doors getting damaged when they open them near a wall ..

Looks can be deceiving.

I read somewhere that the Magna is a sportsbike in disguise as a cruiser.

And to me, that's the best of both worlds. Hahahaha...
