Not necessarily true. My old FF helmet was a lousy brand one. Damn smelly and the pads are all worn out but still the thief stole it... :slapforehead:

my OGK FF3 was also stolen last month at the open carpark opposite cineleisure.. Visor crack, air vents cracked, rear fin cracked, cushion torn.. still can believe somebody would risk it to steal such a helmet.. :nono:

p.s. other half faced helmets which look even beta tat were ard were left untouched..

not only helmet, cloth and what ever thing also steal, but this type of small thing still can afford to lose.

Some times its about how we park and where we park our bike.

Some time if i see the carpark not so safe eg the carpark beside the mosque opp paragoon, i won't park.Taking the risk of bike accesaries kena stolen is just not worth it. I rather park at the pavement and take the risk of getting fine.

if they steal a helmet by cutting the strap, most prob is that its for single use. impromtu action. maybe got pillion but no helmet, die die wanna take pillion. these is sick...

not to mention helmets.... our bikes or bike parts are never safe parking anywhere in the first place! :weep:

imagine leaving a 10K++ "item" at a carpark... with parts that are secured merely by screws bolts and nuts.... now... thats something to worry about. :sian:

Parking in a open air carpark or risk sumon by parking at the pavement is a better options. I got friend even install alarm to their bike.

Maybe he like the idea of having surprise when he open the box. What if he wanna steal a few box. He got to bring a lorry to carry them home liao. worse is someboxes, like mine, has got nothing in it except the bike cover in it when it is left alone. Of course if he wanna steal my thirsty hippo than nothing to say liao... :cheeky:

You can add me to the list...

I left my FF helmet at the void deck (so that's partly my fault for my forgetfulness). But I'm fuming for the other 50% because I was wondering why a lowlife f*cksh*t would just take my helmet. Moreover, they could've just taken it to the police post just across the road to my house, but I guess they're theives anyways :weep:

My Shoei JMax was stolen 15 years ago when i was studying in SP.

Locked it to the bike and within an hour, it was cut and stolen.

Learned never to lock a good helmet to the bike by the strap, ever.

My rare arai and clover jacket was stolen in Gombak camp and my Kappa box was not broken into. Till now I am still wondering how the hell that LOW LIFE open my box. I have all my main and spare keys with me...

But 2 years later i saw my helmet and the same jacket at GP Esso. That guy say he bought it from someone else but i doubt so. Becoz I love that helmet so much I use another 300 bucks to buy back from him for sentimental values.. :giddy:
