i'm thinking of changing my case fan and cpu fan. heard that zalman is good. any other brands or models to recommend?

Case fan wise, what size? if 12cm, im able to get my paws on some high quality BALL BEARING fans. Almost all the PC fans on the market run on bushings.

i'm using a zalman copper cooling fan for my dual core amd processor. weighs a ton and not worth the hype. metal bracket broke off when i was installing it. runs at ~39°C on low load, rises up to ~56°C on graphic intensive games. it's quite loud although i set the rpm at half it's range. maybe i have high expectations of a cooler that costs more than $350 but it works and i'm not going to bother about all it's cons.

there's a very bad con for water cooling lol.

...and that is, you'd have to buy fishies for it?

(j/k)!

Again, making it water-cooled, a fan has to be involved in this kind of cooling line to transfer heat out of the hot water, so it's back to square one.
