yesterday was my official last day.

 

had a 3rd interview today. hm not so worth it in terms of pay.

too many f**king cars with HID lamps, shone directly into my eyes, so irritating... can gahmen just ban those lights?!!!

broke up with my gf ytd , she is addicted to casino.... even we broke up over it , she still wont stop , she's still @ casino now ......

with reference to my career, i finally managed to have a talk with my mgr. I had indicate my interest in supply planning and hope to be convert to perm. He say he will help me look up but no promises though and an engineering cert is not necessary required for planning role.

 

In my case, going for more study is not the solution, i need to learn the planning function, really hope i got chance after i indicate my interest. This is the only hope of going into planning.

 

Will wait for 2 mths if got any good news. Before that i already told my mgr i can take on more rols and he already given me more role, but is doing same thing but more regions.

talk n promises r empty words.

be smart, fill up the job application.

make it legally, words in document.

ur hope will prevail.

I found the emails, which the previous guy, says that the previous previous guy deleted away.

 

Am no genius........because only today, I had the laptop to myself and did some looking here and there.

On another note. I found the old emails, and had to wade thru 3 years worth of them, and sort them into new folders.

 

My shoulders is hurting, and thats not because I moved some heavy utilities tools and equipment cabinents all by myself.....its just the stress of having to read so many people's complaints and life stories.

u mean to send resume and look for other job? even i look for other job i end up back to same old trade - order mgmt.

 

most pple will give the same old generic advices to keep apply for job which i am interested in and i may stand a chance but in my case, 99.9% of planning role job in many many coy would require planning experience or if they take in fresh grad they ask for engineering cert. my current coy i guess is the exception that they are really open, even got marketing people go into logistics dept.

seriously u r not a smart gal.

every coy have standard procedure of employment, this also applies to their own staff/temp/contract.

by talking to ur manager or someone in-charge of u, doesn't mean automatically apply for the job.

u need to apply officially thus personnel dept can process it.

check with personnel, otherwise u can wait forever coz personnel doesn't have ur application.

u should have taken the offer.

today is employers' market, not employees' market.

at least u like the environment of the place, u be enjoying the work.

work experience gained will be in proforma, will be added advantages for ur next job application.

I bought a cheap CLI with speaker phone for the office, but it turns out my office line dont have CLI.

 

But I like the speaker function, cos it saves me time putting a phone on my ears.

 

Should I apply for the CLI function with Singtel? Or simply keep the phone and buy another phone with speaker function?

 

Also, should I buy that $39/- Akira brand CD radio player for the office?

 

And bozz seems to have forgotten that I requested for a electric kettle for the office. Should I just go and buy one cheap one myself?

 

And the office need more electrical extension plugs. Basket......nuclear war, and i will be stucked in a bomb shelter with so many electrical appliances.

Unfortunately......yes.

 

It probably have to do with being the person that receives complaints, being pressured to do things, and having to please all parties. And we are talking about long hours, 24/7 on standby kinda pressure.

Best to scream on top of your voice .Don't do what I did last Friday. I smashed up my 32" LCD HD-Ready TV. I bought a cheaper, smaller Full HD TV instead but the sound is crap.

not really lah... when i quitted just before CNY, i got 3 or 4 offers and my current job now is abt 30-40% increment over my previous...

 

i guess it all boils down to what your skill set and qualification as well as how you sell yourself to prospective employers?
