Ok, just joined the Scorpion family.. I got a newbie question here..

 

How on earth do I DIY take out the buffer/baffle/silencer or whatever that it is called..?

 

I tried to loosen the screw at the back, but its super tight. Scared i do wrong, then the whole thing damaged...

Ok done..Had to wait for a few days. But after take out the silencer......

 

Its seriously super loud. And smooth. Went to JB with my friend using a yoshi, he said he want to sell his yoshi already and buy a scorpion.. Hahaha.. Aniway, I've yet to see fellow Scorpion users on the road. I staying at Chai Chee area near Bedok. Im always keeping a lookout.

 

Cos i want to hear it on other people's bike. Can't hear your own bike properly mah.. Haha...

but just contented with the product i've bought..

pacify myself as the finishing is very good compared to all the others..

Well, just like you, i am contented with my choice. My friends say that the sound is not the 'crisp' sound. But more of a smooth and bassy type.. Hmm.. Dunno how to explain. But it sounds great to me. But seriously, when vtec opens, there's a distinct 'pop' sound. Or is it just me?? Psychologically WANTS to hear a different sound.. Hahahaha.. Dunno la eh.. Of course different pipe, diff sound.

 

I agree with u as the CF look is so the 3D.. Nice.. No regrets getting a Scorpion. =)

Bro yoshi tri-oval is FULL system but scorpion is endcan only.Dont think got full system yet for scorpion for Super4...Performance wise no comments...

Loving it. Dunno whether its true that people say that u need to 'season' ur pipe to make it sound nicer.. But then I do hear it it getting louder and smoother. Well, maybe it's just me.

 

Performance wise, before tuning, not much diff from stock..

But after I serviced and tuned carbs...

 

Bro Biting Point said that there's no distinct roaring when v-tec opens.

But i feel like mine have. There's definitely a distinct sound change (okay maybe not alot, but there is) when v-tec opens. From smooth and bassy, whack at 3rd gear and above then i hear a 'pop' sound like super loud. Go up slowly thru the gear, provided the road is straight enuf, its still roaring.

 

Dunno la eh.. No 2 bikes are similar. Same model, same version, even if u top up V-power on both, 1 might say its smooth, another might say its draggy.

to me listening of the sound quality, it will varies from low to high tone depends on individual as some will appear to listen better at high tone but not low tone.
