i didn't mention in the police report regarding my broken watch or etc..

Try to go back and add on to the police report? Should be able to add in important details that you forgot. Otherwise quite lame cos I'm sure people do forget when they are in shock or just had an accident.

yeah.. you can add it on in the TP statement.. cuz it'll still be a reference for the insurers to check back on for any claims.. ask your IO about it.. its better then asking us.. anyway.. i haven been asked for any money to do my repairs for my accident claims.. that's why i rec hkl and look for ah keong.. cuz he's really efficient in doing these tings and nv asked for any $$ from me at all..

heard someone mentioned to me if accident, just claim everything, even helmet, personal stuff, etc. just consult with ur lawyer/insurance to add in. TP report wont cover these, they only record what happened in accident.

 

if bikeshop see ur case is 100%, they will do ur bike foc, cos they know can claim back, however if the outcome is u lose or only 50%, then u need to pay back. for those 50% cases, the repairs u need pay 1/2. depend on bike shop if they want to 'eat' the cost.

Yoo yoo pulsarian.. I am now considering a pulsar ug 2 about 1.55k n ug 3 1.8k.. Coe ug 3 6 months longer.. Milage about the same.. What do u guys think what do I need to compare?? Like is there alot of diff between the 2 model?

 

beside those visible, i'll note the quality of each machine, of cos u'll need someone who's familiar with bikes.

if you wan to claim personal items.. make sure your police report has them.. if nt, the insurance from the other side will nt process the claims.. and you need to have the receipts.. no receipt.. rarely will get back any $$.. if you did not put it in police report.. can do claims through law firm.. same ting also, no receipt, hardly will get back any.. at most half your original value stated or current market value.. if you goin hkl.. call ah keong den they'll get the tow truck jackie to take it to the shop for you.. if you decide nt to use hkl services, den only pay for tow truck.. bt i haven gotten or met anyone who done better in claims den hkl for nw.. but i dun wan to find out more though.. IO probably on holiday or what.. call them again on monday morning..

 

forgot important thing is receipt, u'll need to have the receipt of ur purchase or u can go back to the shop ask them to reissue.

 

other than that, i mentioned TP wont care these things, no use going back to them.

nope. he didnt tag along. he just told me to buy him a helmet for him. i locked both helmets inside d 2 side bags with padlocks. seems the thief was able to open the lock n took one of the helmets.

Do you know when to change brake oil/clean pipe/service calipers? Last time I went to UM for my 10,000 kms servicing and the manual say that is the time to change all this. But the mechanic said all fine and no need. What are the symptoms that these things need a change/service?

 

that's what um told me also. i guess i cant depend on them, for now i'll perhaps open up the container n check the oil yearly, however u can ask them to bleed n change the oil.

That thing is called .. master cylinder pump kit and it cost $45 with labour + top up brake fluid at UM

"We do not provide installation of belly pan for Pulsar 180 due to it is a aftermarket accessories. However most of the workshop will be able to install it at a nominal charges range from $60 to $80.00. This is the average charges charged by the work shop."

 

Really ah they never do it? If labour charge that steep, looks lik I'm going to DIY..

i think it include the rxz belly pan if not really too ex for just workmanship.

 

anyway anyone going UM soon? can help me ask if the new 135 pulsar's rear hugger cum chain guard have stock already and the price?
