more rest periods will be good too..i cant reali sit long periods too..hahaha.mebbe every 30min we cn take a break..as i said..slow and enjoyable ride..literally..hahaha

 

i think maybe every 1 hr+ then "pit stop" might be better

 

for every 30 mins u ride, at 100km/h, u'll end up more than 12 hrs reaching just thai border. if dats d case, u might consider longer period of days to spend overrall. i once maintain 140km/h from point A to point B which is 80km apart, took me almost 30 mins.

 

Lol.. True enuff.. Rest too much also take too long time.. Unless we have longer time and slowly move up north.. den slowly come back south.. I rec min 3 days.. Back and forth bah.. Few stops in between visiting places in msia.. Nt that thr nth else to visit I believe.. Nt sure how much a beating the bike can take.. Haha.. Though in gaban's case.. Alot.. Lol..

i duno abt u guys...bt wen i was riding p200..i reali pity my bike wen goin at 100km/h..like abusing it to go faster liddat..hahaha..i tink e best way wud be havin mini tourin trips 1st to gauge hw fast every1 cn go b4 deciding whether we r up for it to reach e thai border. comments?

too much break in btw is no good for bike, a running machine will keep running, u always start n stop a machine, something is bound to give. also unless someone feels tired, then no choice got to rest, otherwise pressing on is better option. u rest too much, ur body will start to shut down, similar to the above statement, thus if possible just press on, but not forcing; that's no good.

My god that bad rain is it? I felt today while coming back from office that this is not normal rain. Something more terrible. While leaving from office in Changi business park everything was calm. Looks like north Singapore rains more often and heavily then rest of Singapore is it?

 

some part of SG they do seeding, thus u see some area always rain while some dont.

Actually I agree with freddy.. Haha.. When I go ard 100km/h.. My bike seems to be in abit of stress.. Or maybe its just me? Lol.. Bt yeah.. We shld have a short trip to gauge each bike's capability.. Bt I gather it shld be fine.. Look at the legendary bike.. Haha.. It has wonders already.. Think of its last touring trip! Lol..

try picking up slow, going up in certain speed n hold there for a while, then in stages, proceed to the next higher speed. that way u'll warm up ur bike n it should go smooth.

i had tried start up going 0-100 like in 20sec, engine feel rough n crying for help. but if u do in stages, it should run fine, or perhaps it's just psychological effect.

not necessary short trips, going from changi to jurong should be sufficient.

btw vibration is almost unbearable at high speed, so that might be the cause too. prepare a set of good gloves too.

Same2. 100km/h bike begging for forgiveness already. Yet to change to sinnob. After change i wanna see if there's significant difference or not.

 

Yesterday after work (1am) went to carpark wanted to go home. Discovered my bike couldn't start. I thought maybe cause engine too cold because of the rain or something but couldn't be cause there isn't even an ignition sound. Thought maybe spark plug i dont know how to check if thats the cause and what to do if thats the case. Thought of calling some friends for their advice. Thats when i regretted not having crank start. So i proceeded to push the bike up slope. Put 2nd gear and run down try to push start. Did this several times. No luck. Everytime i hear the engine about to start it doesnt want to somehow. Since its so late already, carpark all lights off. Noone was around.

Was contemplating what to do. Lit one stick to calm down. Was perspiring from the running puh start. Then i turn on the switch again. Was looking at the white handle lights that i remembered the engine killswitch. Checked it and true enough it was off. Switched on. Tried ignition and the bike came to life.

 

Aaargghhh...apparently someone sabo the p-plater. Close call. Imagine i call tow truck then they find out the problem. Never kena knock on the head considered lucky already.
