"kick harder bro, i also encounter this a couple times."

I had same problem, brought the matter up at UM & they changed it FOC. After that, changing gears is so smooth & effortless....

how much does it cost?

hey dudes, got my puls yesterday. wanna ask a noob qn..whats the best rpm to change gear say from 1 to 2, 2 to 3 etc...or should follow the speed? like 1-15kmh gear 1...15-30 gear 2...30-50 gear 3...etc..

Posted

best to follow the loudness of engine. change before it gets too loud.

did you get a new or 2nd hand pulsar?

if new then have to watch the speed limit of each gear if you doing soft run-in

o no la i guy...sorry to get some ppl's hopes up..lol

cos i tried several usernames but all taken..then i anyhow type lo..in the end get this xiaoxian...and i think pulsar is quite big for a girl...

sorry but im noob here...whats run in? like make the engine season? ya i bought 2nd hand..mileage below 15k..

and the auto signal cancelling is a pain man..like when you have to change lane before turning...have to turn it on again before you turn..or when you thought it didnt cancel, so you manually cancel it..but it actually did cancel so in the end got signal....

recently, i keep having the problem of kicking up to neutral gear when i wan to change gear 2.... it's like having the need to kick twice to get gear 2 :giddy: :giddy:

its like quite dangerous as when moving off from a junction then i kick into neutral gear, i trottle only rpm go up very high kpkb but bike don move

wads the possible problem here? or the problem is with me...:sian:

omg guys... my gear prob like getting more jialat... i now even haf prob kicking from the neutral to gear 2 meaning i kick up once go neutral den kick a few more times den can go gear 2... i nid to let the car behind me pass first heng very light traffic and i made only a short trip...

must the prob. be solved at um? cos i stay very far from UM and might be a hazard to others if I ride so far...(more traffic junction more chances of kena the same prob...)

try using your heel to tap down the back of the rear lever? sometimes cos u wear shoes or wad, den cant feel the strength well. so can try stepping it down.

difficulty in changing gear can also be attributed to a worn shaft. which can be attributed to overly rough gear changing.

that particular bit costs 25 bucks.

the more you use the bike, the easier it will be for you to troubleshoot any problems.

Change to 5rpm for every gear unless you want to have faster acceleration for the mid range. It can be done even lower for lower gears, end of the day its up individual:thumb:

The problem may lies with your gear lever being loose, check the nut holding on to it.If not it may lies with the type of engine oil you use,or its time to change your engine oil liao.
