voltmeter shows only 11V. When start drop to under 10V. end up went to charge the battery.

now fingers crossed.

 

did an oil change and carb wash at the same time.

my mech open up the carb and showed me the plunger gonna break already.

 

now the timing is high after carb wash. replacement Kaehin carb gonna cost me another $200 for reconditioned one. New one is over $300. haizz.

 

yesterday already spent $120 for steering cone, $140 for engine mount and $50 for wheel bearings.

 

but on a positive note, the power and ride is really comfy. wife gave two thumbs up. cruising at 100km/hr is so quiet. no stress.

unless want to remove tank in the dark then ok...

can get the coil from mfk and got a 2nd hand protec air filter if you want...

the vibration will make the battery lose contact for the GE cam

so need to make sure the battery can take the vibration if want to mount on handlebar

nemesis's cam is nice...

but not waterproof...

have to get the waterproof casing...

Oren - what do you do to secure your bike during your trip? I am planning a Malaysia/Thailand bike trip over the Xmas/New Year time and the biggest concern for me is the safety of my bike. When I went to KL/Penang in the past, that was my biggest problem. Any suggestions?

 

Also, is there a way for me to take my bike from Mersing to Tioman? Or is there a place in Mersing where I can leave my bike and be sure that I will find it after I return?

 

There is no way to take the bike to Tioman since it is a Pulao and there is no bridge or huge ferries connecting it.. Also not safe to leave bike at Mersing. My advice; drop Pulao Tioman. Head to Pulao Penang There is bridge connecting Penang with main land MY.

hi, i recently got a UG1 pulsar 180...was wondering if can fix Koso mirrors and how much does it cost and can get were? for lights, would like to know wer can fix white lights? paint work in sg, any cheap place to recommend..this is a very stock bike...thank u

Koso mirrors check garage sales or cmo section. Any bike shop should have. Abt $20-25. Paintwork abt $300. Alternatively can do decal much cheaper

koso can do if you interested to change from stock ..

 

get the metal frame koso mirror and not the plastic frame ... metal slightly expensive but both all the small screws get rusty easily

 

however pls note that pulsar have strong vibrations ... in terms of vibrations on mirror for pulsar .... STOCK the BEST!!!!
