Pulsarians Singapore Convoy to SBF 11th Anniversary Celebration

 

Pulsarians Singapore have been invited to Singapore Bike Forum’s(SBF) 11th Anniversary Celebrations. We will be riding to the event in a convoy.

1) Waterproof jackets/Raincoat

2) Riding pants/Jeans/Long pants(NO SHORTS PLEASE)

3) NO SLIPPERS please. SHOES a MUST

4) Gloves/FF Helmets(If possible)

 

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

 

- Please ensure that your motorcycle is in good working condition

- Minimum safety attire: Jeans/Long pants, covered shoes. Riders and pillions not meeting this requirement will be U-Turned

- Full faced Helmet and riding gear is strongly encouraged.

- Please bring along your rain gear

- Safety of all the riders is of our utmost concern, so no superman antics please!

- Please observe orderly convoy riding, so no overtaking between bikes, no lane splitting. Please follow the convoy leader at all times and don't freestyle !

- Please respect traffic signs and rules, as well as speed limits

LAB can but their workmanship will take long and not good as UM. best to go UM or your trusted mech.

suggest you take a look at the base plate mounting, maybe add some more support plates at the bottom...

i dunno if its good or bad. 298.6km(before i top up) and divide by the amount of petrol i fill up. dunno if tats the correct way to calculate fc. hahaa

I have seen a post on Facebook... A classmate who rode... had never made it back home yesterday... She was killed by Mercedes at the scene...

 

Just this week, I had avoided a Mercedes along YCK road as well... But ytd... my friend was not so lucky to avoid a reckless driver... She was a safe rider and her ride is a big Scrambler... Surely it is high and big enough to be seen on the road...

 

Ride safe guys... The road is just getting too dangerous each day...

Errr ya think its AMA. Yup bought the brand Beon, blue (and black), original price i think 118, got it for $70, got a clear and tinted visor (my friend said its about 30% tinted). The guy said M was quite limited.. think i bought 1 of the only 2 'M' size helmet in stock there lol. More L and bigger sizes. Most of the fullface helmets look racer-ish, while the open face helmets are kinda unique (not my style though), eg: denim design (seriously).

 

A friend of mine said the front of it not that sturdy, but still better than open face, and like open face, I have problems squeezing my specs on haha.

 

Oh yea, no PSB stickers on the helmets. Hope this helps

hello there!

 

I recently passed my 2B test.now looking for a bike.

 

After asking around and careful thought I've narrowed the bike selections to vespa r15 fz16 and also pulsar 200NS.

 

I know the bike choices are really apple and oranges but I've so much to learn and know about the bikes before I decide to purchase them.

 

For pulsar I really like it cos of new design. I'm also glad it has very good fuel consumption. I'm leaning towards the pulsar 200 NS.

 

For vespa i like it because it has relaxed style but I don't think on the highways it will be very relaxed.

Negatives are fuel consumption and high price for new lx150. Auto gear box I'm also not a fan.

 

For fz 16 the good thing is engine really good and perhaps my friend wants to sell of his. His bike is 1 year old and carry on installment. Perhaps I can get a good price.but he said there's no power after 70Km/h and also shops saying the bike is heavy and power not good.

 

R15 i like its styling too. Fuel consumption is also not bad.my close friend recommends this.

 

Since this is pulsar group. I'd like to say your forum is really very informative and got so much happening here.

 

Looking for new bike I'm not in a hurry. Planning to use it to go to NTU daily from MacPherson. Good fuel consumption is a must. Secondly servicing can I DIY? To cut costs(I'm still schooling). are Repairs from Universal motors are reasonable pricing ? Compared to other bikes?

 

Last question is can seat height of the 200Ns be adjusted ? I'm only 165cm tall.went down to scape on sunday the bike really uncomfy cos my legs aren't long enough. Anyone here similar height bought the bike and get used to it ? Can tip toe on two legs ? I went to scape I can barely tip toe when the bike is leaning to the left. Got good and bad. At least if I intend to take class 2A my right leg always up.
