Hi Bajaj Bro, I got 1 question in mind not sure whether u guy encounter this problem b4, this is how it goes , my friend recently just sold his yamaha spark online to this seller, the seller claim he calling from this famous bike shop ..... sorry not convenience to say the bike shop name here i can pm you guy if u need to know. So my friend ask on my behalf do they sell bajaj pulsar bike? The seller say: "yes first hand $5k+" than advise my friend not to buy this bike as after riding it for sometime alway having this problem " piston jam, oil leak". He also say if u resell your bike to the bike shop also not value as this bike is make in india.... Anyone encounter this problem b4 ? :help:

This is rubbish.

 

Honestly, I don't think ANY bike shop can talk to you about the Pulsar if it's not Universal Motors. Why ? Because they are the only ones who ACTUALLY work on these bikes, service them and sell them in a quantity and frequency that make their experience relevant.

 

If the pulsar was a bad bike:

- Do you think it would be available at all ?

- Do you think a shop would run the majority of their business on it ? (UM)

- Do you think there would be a thread about it in SBF ?

 

Like Lindavw said, every bike can be problematic. When the Pulsar gets out of the factory, it's as functional as any other bike. It does not have any defaults that make the oil leak or the piston jam. It's the rider that makes everything happen. The caretaker of the bike.

Some members here take so good care of their bikes, you would think the bikes are brand new when they are already a few years old.

 

Understand also that people want to do business. Maybe selling other bikes is more profitable to this shop. Maybe they have another bike they want to sell to you.

 

Lastly, "bike made in India = No value" , that's just stupid. If really this person knows Pulsar bikes, and have used/taken care of them, he would never say that.

 

Suffice to say that the number of Pulsar owners in SG is growing every month. Every month we have new people showing up here and saying "I just got myself a Pulsar!". Do you think if the bike had no value or had a piston that jams, people would keep buying it ?

 

By now, if the bike was bad, riders would know and avoid it. Yet, the bike increases in popularity. What does that tell you ?

I've been using this bike for almost 1 year 2 months and this is my first bike since I stopped riding for almost 20 years ..

 

I have ZERO encounter of such problems

 

As long as you treat your bike as your dearly love one, your bike will surely serve you well

 

But for me ... I treat my bike as my real buddy as my bike is SURELY and DEFINITELY MALE

Well if you wanna trade in your pulsar at universal motors this is the part the value drop alot.

I asked David how much my FBC plate FBC 180 7+++ trade in end of last mth for

$1500

a week later I sold to a buyer online for double its price $3000.
