Hi Bajaj Bro, I got 1 question in mind not sure whether u guy encounter this problem b4, this is how it goes , my friend recently just sold his yamaha spark online to this seller, the seller claim he calling from this famous bike shop ..... sorry not convenience to say the bike shop name here i can pm you guy if u need to know. So my friend ask on my behalf do they sell bajaj pulsar bike? The seller say: "yes first hand $5k+" than advise my friend not to buy this bike as after riding it for sometime alway having this problem " piston jam, oil leak". He also say if u resell your bike to the bike shop also not value as this bike is make in india.... Anyone encounter this problem b4 ? :help:

 

They said tat bcoz they r not familar wif e bike n its technology... U must understand oni um mech r properly trained in servicing ur pulsar, e rest all trial n error worst still no spare parts on hand. Thk of tis if i m bikeshop owner i oso said bajaj bike no good lah.

 

Dun under-estimate india technology. Currently not many bikes can achieve its gd fc n hav all thos multi sensors packed into 1 small bike.

 

Lastly, if owner dun maintain e bike at all sure it will b problematic lah... Read thru e thread u will find many satisfied pulsarian here. If not can ask chief to giv u a pulsar orientation/introduction.

Been reading bajaj thread from page 200 till now and I have learn alot of things from you guy. Recently i just bought a ogk ff4 from regina to standby for my upcoming pulsar bike cant wait to pass my tp and join you guy for e outing.

i personally think pulsar is good for daily transport use and doing dispatch/delivery work...coz dont have to visit pump station frequently..

I think the main attraction for this bike is its Fuel consumption..

At first i was eyeing the pulsar 200cc version but then i heard their acceleration very poor..so i bought my gilera..

 

But anyways, Upz for PULSAR!! wuhoO.!!

what do you all think of the idea if i cover my flip up with the helmet cover and lock it onto my rear seat with those metal chains with combi lock...

 

i tink u can lock ur helmet wif a normal metal chain.. i see quite a few bikes do tt.. so no worries.. hehe..

i only put it inside only if i'm near my bike. If not i will bring along the flip up and go shopping. coz both my flip up got the shoei bag. I will only keep my normal helmet x2 plus a ....

 

that is alot of stuff!!!! even i cant stuff so much! only at most 2 FF plus one jacket n one bike cover.. 2 rain coat put inside helmet.. no more space liaoz.. haha..

the ride safe event sounds good but it seems i haven seen anitin abt other bikes being able to join it thou.. so i'm not very sure on tt.. but the charity ride.. dun tink i'm joinin.. got deadlines tt period.. heh..

 

This is rubbish.

 

Honestly, I don't think ANY bike shop can talk to you about the Pulsar if it's not Universal Motors. Why ? Because they are the only ones who ACTUALLY work on these bikes, service them and sell them in a quantity and frequency that make their experience relevant.

 

If the pulsar was a bad bike:

- Do you think it would be available at all ?

- Do you think a shop would run the majority of their business on it ? (UM)

- Do you think there would be a thread about it in SBF ?

 

Like Lindavw said, every bike can be problematic. When the Pulsar gets out of the factory, it's as functional as any other bike. It does not have any ....

 

o'ren can reali be our number 1 ambassador!! ha.. today one of the xcd135 guy came up to me and asked abt my pulsar.. ha.. i din get number from him but he works at chomp chomp FC.. can go back again ask for his number n ask him join us for BTMO.. heh..

i would beg to differ.. our top speed might be low but our acceleration is still good enuff.. but still its up to one's preferences.. gilera no doubt has faster acceleration den pulsar i tink.. but we could improve such performances with the gadgets cookie is selling..

u can try lookin ard MO threads.. got some selling gloves.. i got one from there.. good leather ones.. very comfortable.. but when wet, it might stain the hands.. but not hard to wash off also.. =)
