oh ya.... bro fyi, Pulsar works best when travelling on lower grade petrol. V-Power works the reverse for this instance. Hope u still have my number with u. Call me when u have decided to buy a pulsar or to know more. Test ride on one first... A bike is like ur second wife... You will be riding her more than ur first wife...

hey viewpanel, does that mean we should use 92 for the pulsar to work best? I'm using 95, if its advised to change to lower grade it'll be good on our pockets :thumb:

Do come for our monthly BTMO... U will be able to learn more stuff hands on...

Alternate between 95 and 92... using too much 92 will soften ur diaphram till out of shape... too much 95 will makes it harden like a rock... either way is bad for ur bike... too much v-power and u are bound for UM.... :)

Jus dun use V-power... u come for the BTMO n We will all teach u...

In some countries overseas, definitely not worth the try. But here i think it's pretty safe if you park in a good place: i.e avoid back alleys, empty MSCP, or weird hours (late night - early morning). Of course, overnight, take the helmet with you.

I have thought about buying this:

http://www.pac-safe.com/media/product/product_image/medium/1953_27_1538_27_LidSafe_with_Anti-theft.jpg

Check out the video on their page, ppretty convincing...

http://www.pac-safe.com/www/index.php?_room=3&_action=detail&id=27

The advantage is it's slash-rpoof, and you can use anykind of lock/chain to lock it. I wouldn't leave the helmet hanging on the handle bar, but most probably put it on the ground under the bike and lock it somwhere very troublesome to get to for a thieve (i.e he'll have to bend or squat or smthg..)

Should be enough to leave the helmet when going for food or shopping or even the movies..

Reviews I found:

"I bought two LidSafes for my wifes and my helmets. This product is fairly easy to use and provides protection, both from thieves and the elements for those times when its necessary (or more convenient) to leave the helmets on the bike. My helmet has already been left on the bike during an afternoon downpour and it was nice and dry when I got back. I cant say that I have any experience with the security of this product, but it looks like it should deter all but the most determined of thieves."

Great Idea - This bag is just what I needed. It protects my helmet from the rain and secures it from interested eyes. Many Pacsafe products come with small key padlocks. I prefer small brass combination locks. Those are easily purchased anywhere. All of the Pacsafe products are worth the time, effort, and money to obtain and use.

Very practical - I just bought this bag and love it. I don't want to carry my helmet, but I don't want to leave it hanging from the side of my bike either. This protects my helmet from the elements and from theft. My only disappointment is that it doesn't fold up smaller when empty. Definitely won't fit in my pocket.

Relieved to read that you are ok Lindavw

Did the other rider suffer any injuries? How fast was he going? If you could stay on the bike and avoid dropping, means he must have been going no too fast, or your bike control is excellent :thumb:

Again, nice to see you're ok and the bike is also
