chill.... SBT is a place for all pulsarian to gather and enjoy the brotherhood. As most of us are grown up adult, to ride safe or reckless is up to indivdual.

Responsiblity and friendship is important. We do not wish to lose any bros/sis in any unpleasent situtation that might caused by other road users or due to our careless on the road.

I have been eyeing the Bajaj Pulsar for a looong time now, having heard alot of good stuff about it. I guess I am going to get a 1st hand Pulsar, since I can see myself using it for at least a couple of years. Any thing to add/say from all you seniors out there?? Thanks!! Btw, Universal Motors opened on weekends?? I am 21 yrs old, so rough insurance cost??

Universal Motors opens on Sat til 6pm I think... I never go there on weekends before...

 

If P Plate, it's at least 900 if you're going by installments as TPFT is mandatory...

 

Definitely the engine is vewy vewy quiet, cause I'm hunting wabbits. Lol joking but when you're around other bikes on the road when moving off from green light, almost can't hear your own engine and get confused when you need to up gear.

 

Of course, the bike has a mean street bike look + the legendary fc that scooters/cubs get.

2moro go to UM at bukit merah and enquire with them in person. dats d best.

 

gentle note: pulsar bike is not meant to speed. but can travel far. if u go there n by chance hapen 2 meet with pulsar riders doing srvicing, plse by all means talk 2 them n get feedback abt the bike.

 

opening days, monday to sat, except public hol n sundays. opened from 9am till 7pm weekdays n 6pm sat.

p plate = your insurance + $150 more. (the $150 is also known as holding fee if i recall correctly)

 

so for your next premium, you just subtract $150 off and then another 5-10% loyalty discount or NCD... and you will get the rough figure of the premium u need to pay.

Just to share some information for UG2.

 

When i was there this afternoon, a UG2 had a unique problem.

 

Bike in neutral, engine idling, but when the front brake lever was pressed, the analog rpm needle moves up and further up upon repeated pressing.

After opening up the whole bike to check the electrical connections, the problem was found to be simple.

 

The battery was weak. After the mechanics changed to a new battery, the problem was gone.

 

Think they took about 2 to 3hrs to solve this problem. Phew...!
