hi guys.. how was BTMO? hope evtin is fine! i ran over a large stone on friday night going home and skidded as a result.. din have enuff time to react wen i saw and went over it while tryin to avoid it den up-kerb and fell den skidded.. 6 stitches on my right last finger plus bruises and abrasions on shoulders thighs and knees.. i was wearing double layer (thick jacket plus thick polo tee) and full leather gloves plus jeans and covered shoes.. goin ard 50km/h only.. so ride safe bros.. even thou the speed was average and i wore stuff to protect myself.. thing still happens.. so ride safe my pulsarians/rettes brothers and sister! tk care!! my bike is at TP compound nw.. waitin for release.. hopin no major damage to the bike thou i did see my mirrors and signal ligths and front fork abit bent.. nid to change box also.. i hope tt is all seriously.. meanwhile.. still ride safe everyone!! even thou we keep to safety limits and wear some gears.. we still are vunerable! so .. once again.. ride safe..

I believe it has nothing to do with the weight of the vehicle but the electro-magnetic field it generates, so a 2B bike doesn't have that much to get the traffic to sense it. Just my personal *theory*

I have encounter a problem with my 200cc pulsar bike...

On the top right hand side of the digital screen, i saw a logo like kettle pot with a water dip sign keep popping out on the digital screen.

Wad is that suppose to mean??

Sometimes it dun pop out , but somtimes it pop..

Does anyone know wad is that.. kindly advise.. Thanks in advance...

for Pulsar 180, either UG2/2.2(dunno):

 

1. does the chain used EO to lubricate itself? if yes/no, do u guys use chain wax?

 

the left side of my chain cap or smth, the metal cover that covers the chain, can notice slight traces of EO

tio pretty jialat EO leaking on the left side of the engine to the side stand. am monitoring for a while more to see if it is normal.

 

2. do UM or shops carrys side stand seperately? if yes, any idea of the price?

my sidestand is very slanted. like 60 degree angle or something, no joke.

 

3. fuel reserve, when my fuel reach reserve, do i have to turn the valve to on or should i put it as res in order to use the reserved fuel?

check ur eo on the btm left side of d bike. there should be a very small roundish glass to see ur eo wheather its on the mid level. if it is, just ignore the indicator. dun wory abt it. i dun trust d indicator anywayz.

also, iirc, fields are generated on a cylindrical-sort field around the wires, so if you have problem w traffic lights not changing late at night, rem to ride your bike directly on top of the black-rubber lines, mostly seems to work.

 

also, sensor does not come on immediately after red-light, there's a slight time-delay before it activates, but still, better not to test it out, hehe.

Just that the indicator keep pooping up, makes my heart also pop faster, scare that my ride got problem...

so to say that the indicator is not reali that good...
