i'm the slowest point collector amonst all the pulsar. my yearly point is less than 1k (ringit), so how many year i still have to ride to get that fridge. how i wish the petrol would drain faster.

Hi all,

 

i maybe getting a 2nd pulsar soon. Would like to ask what are the things that you like and dislike about your bike? and also what are the common problems that pulsar always face? saw from another thread that pulsar is very very problematic.

 

and why do you change the sprocket? is it the main reason for the gd FC??

 

i saw from bike specs/reviews on pulsar that some owner need to visit motor shop every 2 weeks.. so want to check is that true and y is it so..

 

how u manage to hit 1000km full tank?

 

thanks for the advice.. but right now im still in the paranoid condition since im currently riding a TA150.. im afraid that its nt as stable like wat i heard from many pple; things like dun get pulsar if u r serious rider, coming from pulsar rider!!

 

on top of tt, where can i get cheap crash bar and side box brackets?

sometimes when the owner buys the bike from over the previouc owner might not be honest and just say everything is good

so when problem arises the current owner will think is the bike problem

there are alot of examples here which can proof that pulsar is a very good bike

all bikes has pros and cons and we are not saying that pulsar is perfect

it has its cons also

we welcome you to join us in our official or unofficial meet ups to take a look and understand more of our beloved pulsar

side box brackets for which box? givi e21?

givi e21 ones can get at ah boy for $65

-pulsar need very little maintenece. just need to change engine oill every 1.2k-1.5km,

-not problematic at all if u know how to take care of it.

-changing sprocket to reach higher max speed/better pickup. stock is still the best.

on the manual stated every 2.5k for p180

roughly 2-2.5k should be ok liao

yes, and very limited stocks in sg, out of the few thousand pulsar, there's only like 100.

 

from what i know ug1 stock alrady got very good fc, however at that time sales wasn't too good and they mod it to become nicer, however that cost fc. but the assumption of good fc still pass down which isn't very true anymore. however it's milage per tank is a plus which not many bikes can fight with.

 

UG1 is the single spark plug(Non DTS-I), with round head lights. I think its production was stopped in 2003 itself.

 

I had UG1 P150 in India. Its firing sound is simply awesome. The DTS-I is too smooth and refined, but the UG1 was definitely male

i tink alvin meant the side box bracket is $65 and the boxes are about a $100++.. note the ++.. might be near $200.. i dunoe i cant rem.. if u not gettin givi.. den alvin's studd boxes is not bad also.. brand new set of e21 plus brackets i heard is about $200++.. note the ++ once more.. the kena chopped price.. and also.. u get the bracket from UM, can fix top box and the side box brackets are universal for givi already.. am i too confusing?

hmmm.. my bad.. misread the post.. hahah.. in any case.. ya.. can buy the brackets from UM or ah boy.. but only ting the top box bracket might nid to customize abit if u using from ur previous bike.. not sure how.. haven done it before.. as for the side boxes.. the base plate and the usual fittings u used can be used on the bracket.. if i'm not wrong, the side bracket for ur bike makes use of smtin like a clip or wad.. dunoe how to describe also. i lookin ard for tt part so i can use it for my own bike also.. hahah..

i tot the twin spark plug is for the better burning of fuel and hence making it even better fc? why ug1 single plug can achieve much better fc? hmm :/ dun understand. but is it because twin plug more power also?

eo is to lub your engine parts and not suppose to decrease in level

Wdlands waterfront very near my house. 15-20 min walk. very gd view of jb. however before it was built, it was better. d place was quiet n peaceful. now, lots of ppl.

someone earlier mentioned about atom power, i just found out that it's related to a mlm group call lfi. cos i was recently contacted by a friend to join their group. i'm not promoting their product nor intending to join lfi, but my advise since it's from a mlm company, i would strike caution. if anyone would like to try, i can help get at same price, the friend told me on car gives 80-100km on a 50L tank. how true is up to u to believe.

i should be getting it next sat earliest. looking forward to it, my fren (e previous owner) jus overhaul the engine and told me its in tip top condition now..
