Coordinating Team needed for the BTMO !

As much as I am willing to organize the outing and do my best so everything goes smoothly, depending on the attendance (Pulsars + Phantoms), I will need help so I am recruiting the following:

- Convoy Leader (1 or 2): you will be the first bike of our convoy, leading us throughout the initinerary and making sure we don't get lost and observe traffic rules, as well as pilot us as best as possible through the expected heavy traffic around Geylang area

- Markers (2 or 3): You two will If we have more than 15 bikes, we will need at least 3 of you. Your responsibility will be to wait for the rest of the convoy if seperated from the lead bikes by a traffic light or junction or heavy traffic.

- Sweepers (1 or 2) : You will be responsible for making sure no rider is left behind, and that in case of a separation from the group, that riders find their way back to the next meeting point or next marker. I will be volunteering for this role.

- Phototakers (2 or 3): You will be taking group photos at our different stops and entertaining all requests for photos as and when asked

Ideally, we are also looking for 1 or 2 pillions, experienced enough to be able to take pictures of our convoy on the road, while staying SAFE !

Please note that a pre-BTMO Meeting (diner) will be held on the Wed or Thursday before the BTMO, to go over the last details and make sure everyone is ready and we planned for everything.

All Coordinating Members must have Hazard Lights on their bikes, and feel comfortable in assuming their position. Every member will be given an orange or yellow reflective vest to be more visible at night and to help the other riders identify them during the ride.

Please come forward if you can take one of the above position

Sinnob update ....

My apology for over looked and forgotten that P180 UG2 have 2 version concerning the number of holes on the rear sprocket ... those bike having 6 holes need to onhold as Sinnob rear gear have only 4 holes ... :faint:

We went to UM this morning to install Speed's and Eliminator's sprockets but mission failed as both bike have 6 holes. Even the rubber coupling unable to install since the hub also have different size. Felt sorry for both of them .. however managed to install safely to one new pulsar rider Bro Sadiq riding P180 UG3 as alternative for him since he also drop over to UM to change his gear sprockets. Using Speed Sinnob gears, mech Ah Teck did a fine job installing to his UG3.

Concerning on the Sinnob gears can't fit UG2 with 6 holes, I have raised the matters to Sinnob and they were shocked too to know about the UG2 with 6 holes ... they are not aware of the UG2 version as Indon bike are basically UG3, UG4, P200 and P220.

Sinnob have asked me to sent a drawing copy of the rear gear with 6 holes to have the gears ready for our bros riding UG2 version 6 holes. So guys who rode UG2 with 6 holes, please be patience for a couple of weeks as me and Sinnob wil do our best to have the gears on your bike ... here please let me know who ride UG2 with 6 holes ... thank you and sincerely my apology for over looked on the matter ... truely this matter of different holes have been up for discussion here on the early pages by our seniors ... my regret.

like that my bike also cant use "rubber coupling" as i;m having 6 holes sprocket. BUT i mod it to KR hub. which can easily change in jb or anywhere.

anyone wans my "rubber coupling". SMS 9223 9505 living at tpy

anyway quite interested in Sinnob 6 holes sprocket.

dyno testing a pulsar in indon.

I considered for a long time doing the running in like that in SG - but finally decided it would be best for me to actually experience the road while doing it. But for you, obviously it can be useful (by the way, last Saturday when we went to JB, how is that running in ???!! You were like a speed demon, clearly above 75km ! And don;t tell me "no lah no lah", ok, I am the Safety Watcher, I KNOW when someone is going too fast !)

Anyway, I can understand how impatient you probably are to get your bike to touring speeds :)

Did the indonesians who did the quoted dyno testing post any results ? as in how much it cost, how effective it is, how it works ?

Thanx glzco for the feedback, I am yet to find a shop that really services people with constant prices and service - my favorite so far is Motoworld: may it be shopping or bike related installation, I've only had good experiences with them. Pricing is consistent no matter who asks, and their seem to be appreciated by bikers who go there for servicing.

I think pricing is an important factor, not just because it's money, but because it's really a turn off when you know a shop is giving different people different prices. One time you're a carott, the next you're favored, it's just not reliable.. MJ paid 30-40 fr the voltmeter, glzco paid 55, by the time they see my ang moh face, they're gonna hit me with $70. Which makes me more and more willing to buy stuff overseas or online when I can, or I have to send a friend get stuff for me.. tsk.

Tabung Amal Aidilfitri (TAA) Trust Fund, or Hari Raya Charity Box, was founded in 1992 with a mission to help the poor, needy and less fortunate Malay/Muslim community during the holy month of Ramadan (fasting month).

The idea was first mooted by the late Dr Tay Eng Soon, the then Senior Minister of State for Education, who had suggested that Malay/Muslim organisations could organise a public charity drive during the Ramadan / Syawal season as an annual affair

VISION

To provide financial assistance to disadvantaged families

to enable them to celebrate

Hari Raya (Aidilfitri) with dignity.

MISSION

To foster the spirit of giving in our multi-racial community,

through various fund raising activities and programmes for the

benefit of the disadvantaged.
