after getting it. have to change my KR hub back to Stock liao..

 

anyway anyone interested in the rubber in the hub? i got one... which cant fix my 6 holes hub.

Can I ask if this is recommended for a certain age of engine ? I mean I suppose you don't use this on a new or recent engine but only after you have done a certain mileage, correct ?

Rear Hugger Update ...

 

My friend in Indon stated that he can do the rear hugger for P180 if only he got at least 3 purchase order... similar to front fender.

 

Presently 2 showed interest to have the rear hugger on their rides ..

 

P200 Rear Hugger or Front Fender cost at $105 each inclusive shipping but western Union fees you need to share

1: Kira > Front Fender > Red

2: anyone?

 

P180 special order at least 3 pcs.

My RPM is 8.5K at 100 KMPH. If I increase any more speed my it will hit the redline @ 9k.

Mine is P180 UG2(Analog speedo, 17inch alloys). Is this expected on stock sprockets.

 

The reason I am asking is if the max speed is 125kmph, how to achieve it without hitting the redline. I am suspecting the previous owner might have changed the gear ratio. Also what is the stock sprocket size of my bike?

I have a question about the suspension (is it called damper too ?) : Why some of you guys changed it ?

Is it for the cosmetic, or did it bring improvement to the riding feeling and does it help take care of the tires ?

What sort of longevity can we expect from the stock rear suspension ?

 

MJ, I have a question about the rear hugger : Is it possible to make it longer, to cover more of the rear wheel ? As it is now it's not really visible so the look isn't too much improved, that's why I didn't order it. I suppose that it also serves a purpose of protecting the back of the pipe and engine from any road dust and rocks, can you confirm ?

Thanks rz, I had a look at Pg 1. Looks like mine is 4 hole, 15:43. And your's being the latest P180 is 15:39 thats why you are able to hit 125 kmph without hitting the redline.

 

I want the 39 teeth sprocket as well.

Can the experts please advice is the 39 teeth plug an play with the 43 teeth sprocket? Considering that both are 4 hole? Or will I have to mod my existing sprocket?

my previous sprocs before i changed to sinnob is 15:39T

quite ok imo

if you want higher top end speeds then like one of the P200 riders i met at UM

he changed his rear to 36T

but your pick up will be slower and when you pillion you will not have the power at the initial stages...

Similar with Sinnob gears, Indonesia does not have a UG1 and UG2 with 6 holes sprockets thus difficult for him to do since he can't see the sample. I've feedback to him upon knowing the Sinnob issues and was replied to give him a sample of the UG2 6 holes rubber coupling and also the hub. Happens if you have the old or spare and took pictures of the hub, probably he can't do it for us subject that we have a minimum of orders.

We have our rear fender (mudguard) already ... if the rear hugger is long, than it is not called a hugger but a fender and it will looks aweful to have a double rear fender heheheh.

Rear hugger are meant for Racing bikes. Racing bike doesn't have rear fender on it reasons why rear hugger was introduced to protect the undertail from damaged against stones and sand. It also gives the bike that sleek finished look. :thumb:

 

Oh ... imho you should get the rear hugger since you are not using any rear or side boxes .. it will look awesome on your shadow.
