Really crazy price 1.3k! I wonder why is he selling so low.

 

The owner sold the bike already, by afternoon. I contacted him. It seems its a May 2006 Pulsar with Mileage 62K kms.

 

The owner is really crazy. He could have easily sold it for 1.8k - 2k. Although pulsar resale value is bad, 1.3k is peanuts. Even a bike shop will take it in for 1.2k.

and i can't access SBT through firefox

can load other threads but not this thread

 

can only view this thread in linear mode

in other modes firefox can't load at all

 

now have to change my signature colour also

wonder why he offer so low

The sprocket and new spark plug are making a HUGE difference in the riding experience: I feel that now Shadow can accelerate much faster and it's much much smoother, I actually have to learn again how to gauge the throttle pressure to get the speed I'm looking for, otherwise it hits high speed too fast hehe..

isit u or the bike on the other lane? i've ever heard a pak and i tot something happen, then realise it was the bike on the other lane, i think they purposely mod it that way.

Backfire or afterfire. Backfire happens out the intake, bad for your carb/airbox, typically lean a/f mix or too advanced timing. Combustion not totally complete by the time intake valve opens, flame front goes out the intake and ignites the a/f mix coming in.

 

Afterfire happens out the exhaust, unburnt fuel igniting in the exhaust system.

 

One funky way of doing an afterfire is seen on a youtube vid somewhere. Basically, run your bike up to crusiing speed, shut the engine with the kill switch. Twist the throttle full open n close a few times, then hit the kill switch to restart the bike. BANG!@

 

Anyway, if it happens once it's not too worrying, but if it happens frequently, then good to get it checked out.

back... relized that my bulb is in a wrong watt and thats cause my engine not so stable..i mean backfired.. so what happened is got too much patrol in chamber but not enough to spark... so when the spark came... bang... short form is the timeing was wrong due to not enough power cause the bulb was sucking out the power... but soon need to check my wheel barrings erm felt very diffrent... or maybe i put new box...
