Well, I've never taken it for a long ride. And I've only hit 100+ km/hr thrice. I'm still taking the first few baby steps, hence I was/still am apprehensive before taking the giant leap.

hey bros, can anyone help enlighten me? i'm planning to change to did or rk chain but was wondering if the rollers will fit snugly into the oem sprockets? the search function is dead man with the new interface. the 520 measure shud take into accpunt the roller distance amirite? this will teach me to clean the chain gently and not destroy the o rings in the process.

Yep it takes it into account. As long as it's a 520 it should fit no worries.

anyone know where nearest parking lot for bike for the below add.

No. 80 Anson Road, Fuji Xerox Towers

http://www.streetdirectory.com/asia_travel/travel/travel_id_12740/travel_site_3915/

thanks in advance.

its inside cbd area, iirc, if for a while, saw many dispatch bikes any how park. if not u want a confirm spot, try south point, however lots r limited n u might end up parking at road side too. btw, south point is outside erp. ;)

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

My mom's injury is minor and she is okay now.But if they claim outrageous amounts like 8k do you have to fork out any money or will the insuirance company settle and just let the premium rise for next year?

Yeah I took pictures but the pictures was not too clear though. Its still able to show the scratches which can be a good thing.

wow so fast the claim out? mine took about 1-2mth b4 i rec letter. as for his damage, could you list what was damaged? you could also take his damage claim and go ask a few random workshop.

if it's genuine a few ks, then let him claim ur insurance, unless it's few hundred, then maybe can consider pte settle. talk to ur insur agent also, hear what his advise.

btw, never admit it's ur fault, it's to protect ur self a bit, and to make the claim amt down. if u admit ur fault, then the other party 100%, then u jia lat.

police report is necessary, but not necessary in 24hr. it depends on driver's condition. however advised to be asap. cos if there's injury involved, must make report, cos there will be investigation. think of a cover story b4 going down. unless there's no injury, police will not interfear n insurance pick up from there. also, rememeber to make ur idac.

I dont think our tank is 18 ltrs lah. Our pulsar tank is 15 ltrs by spec. Its the old pulsar's that was 18 ltrs. Our tanks maximum if you fill till the fuel tank lid it may be close to 17 1/2 ltrs including reserve.

The old pulsar tank was 18 ltrs by spec, which means you could actually fill close to 20 ltrs in it.

Next time I go to India, I will check with the shops if they have the old pulsar tank

May '10 - Jun '11 : Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTSi UG2

Jul '11 - Jan '12 : Honda Phantom TA200

Feb '12 - Jul '12 : Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTSi UG3

Can the Pulsar even make it through a 1500 km trip? I kind of feel it might disintegrate into pieces after a few 100 kms...yea..that's the trust I have in my bike.

Anywho, any Pulsarian interested for this?

no worries, pulsar wont break so easily. but b4 this long trip, get ur bike checked a few weeks b4. replace all those worn out parts even if it's still able to last a while.

i may be in but depend on schedule.

i think ug1&2 is 18L (16L+2L reserve), newer tanks r 1L short (15L+2L reserve). those extra 1L or so is those petrol that stays at the bottom, unless u manage to squeeze them all out. but then u risk riding 1/2 way with no petrol stat in sigh, then u jia lat.

mine is 19L.. confirm.. after reserve and travelling for less den 20km, i fill it up to almost 17L.. but like arthur said, prob got 1L or so below the fuel needle even after you switch ur needle to reserve..

mine is 19L.. confirm..

the 1L at bottom better dont use, unless u're draining ur tank. cos at bottom there're lots of residue n some water, n u dont want feeding that to ur engine rite.
