Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

Roadtrip to gunung Ledang Waterfall and Melaka 11-12 Dec 2010

Dates no confirmed as i hav yet to look for a hotel. The problem is I cant book a hotel in advance cos I dun have a credit or debit card. That’s why I need at least a weeks confirmation of anyone whose interested. Anyone who got better suggestions are more than welcome to voice out.

Hotel accomodation costs: $60-70. I will try to look for cheaper hotels with well secured carparks.

Speed: 90-100km/h

Total distance will be covering: about 450km

Attire: safety gear is most recommended

We will ride very 70km and rest.

Those who are going:

1) Gaban

2) Phantom Hellfire

3) O'Ren + Pillionette

4) manikschumi - perfect reason to buy some riding gear!! I'm in if it is 18th-19th December also. 25th-26th December I'm out.

wkwkwkwkwkwwk ... if that's the case then all dentist will close down their clinics and change profession kekekekeke

of all said ... in the very first place MAINTAIN THE BIKE according to the manual from day 1, then this issue of flushing engines won't surface... hehehe

ok do remember what ever you want to use for your engine, use ONLY products stated for MOTORCYCLES ONLY! and use only the brand that are well known and have patented licence and yes I still believed for OWS and Xado products it still ok to use if necessary.

Even AMsoil do not allowed their flushing product for motocycles .. http://www.enhancedsyntheticoil.com/AMSOIL_Engine_Flush.htm

For additives .. I've posted on Tora Tora relatively recomended by the Bajaj Dealer Chief mechanic in Indonesia.

no lah, still got lazy ppl who dont brush teeth often, since they dont want to change their habit, let the dentist clean.

btw, my eo seems to last longer ever since i used a bit of addictive, is it good or bad?

No Physics expert here but I think the handlebar brace takes as much vibration as the rest of the handlebar/handle/bar ends. The vibrations are distributed throughout that portion of the bike pretty much evenly. How much vibration each component absorbs depends on the material.

Since handlebar braces are mostly made of the same material as the handlebar I would think mounting devices onto the handlebar brace is no different than mounting them onto the handlebar itself. If let's say your handlebar brace is made of say... rubber, then it will absorb even more vibrations, thus protecting your mounted electronics better than the metallic alloy handlebar. But do correct me if I'm wrong.

Handle brace basically is solid material compare to handle bar which is hollow tube. I'm not sure of Renthal handle brace but I believed it's solid too ... mybe those who are using the Renthal handle bar can share here. I'm not sure about AhBoy's handle brace to .. Speedaddict gaban and few here are using them too .. Mine is Posh Faith a solid and heavy aluminium brace but super expensive .. $90. Bought already so no point to regret what so ever .. but seriously it works fine, NICE and COOL looks .. hehehe

Arthur ... sorry forgot lah .. the word "they pump ..." who is they ... the mech or the product?

just to clarify more, the flushing method i mentioned is they're using a machine to do the flushing. i dont know how the machine operates, only know the concept of machine flushing is pumping the cleaning agent into where the eo drains out.

after u mentioned ur method, i realised there were 2 ways of doing flushing.

Dun ever ever use mineral oil, no matter which company it is from. use fully synthetic. Common cases for mineral oil, it wont last long. The reason that they use mineral is because that its cheap and it only lasts around 1-2k.

Looks like its raining very heavily in the North. Although my raincoat will protect me, my leather shoes and socks will be become soggy:eek: I think I should start carrying sandals to ride when it rains. But then sandles are not safe for riding rite? Then what rubber shoes without socks? :faint:

Where do you guys put all the rain gear, protection gear, helmets etc? Now I know why the side boxes are needed

Ooh caught in this thunderstorm at ecp.. Was with sunglasses and no glove. Each drop of rain on my hand feels like a needle prick.

Went to Eugene to collect my handle brace wrap then he said not yet ready. Wasted my time. Called engaged. Zz

1: ok so it's ok to have some space btween the dashboard plastic and the windshield ?

2: Motoworld actually, but I thought all mirrors are fixed the same way, by screwing in their stand ?

3 : the bar you put in between your hadnlebar, the blue one you have, it's supposed to help reduce vibration, yeah ? Well, a lot of people use it to mount devices on their bikes like a GPS or Camera and I am wondering if that makes sense because it's like sending all the vibrations to the devices !

4&5: thanks ! :thumb:

1: When you washed bike you never take note meh .... will see you on sun, then will know which part do you mean by waterproof or not.

2: normally there will be 2 nuts .. 1 to adjust and 1 to tighten.

3: hmmmm .. brace are basically to stregthen the handle bar similar principal with fork brace. When bike move and jump, the handle bar and fork will flex (any form of movement creates vibrations). To add strength and good control of the handling, brace come in handy. But due to new innovative technology, stronger and lighter material were produced and brace is just and added accessories. Handle bar take the most vibration than the brace since the handle bar ia a main core and the brace is the cross section.

To mount camera or gps, are part of accessories. Where to mount, good option will be the brace for few reasons ... minimal vibrations, more space and etc ... different bikes with different technology in producing better bikes will have varies significance on the vibrations issue. For our bike, no need to mention lah. Will explain more during diy session. Same with camera lah ... good camera have vibration control device like this model ..

http://www.goprocamera.com/videos/channel_motocross.php

to have this camera, where you wanna mount it, just see the video clips .. it says all.

and oh if you happen to get the bargain price online do inform me I'm interested to invest on this camera too.
