Congrats on your new bike! It would be better to change the tyres right away! Because highest chances of skidding are when you are new with the bike. Once you get used to it chances are lower, still its possible with the stock MRF tyres if you are not carefull in wet/skiddy areas like car parks.

Regarding Engine Oils. No two people will ever agree on brands, Change intervals or even the grades! Haha. Everybody has their favorites and their reasons. So up to you find what works for you and how much are willing to pamper your ride :). According to the manufacture the specified grade is 20W50 and recommended change interval is 5k kms. But most bikers will advise to change EO more frequently like 2-2.5k kms.

The best engine oil you can feed your bike is ofcourse Motul 300V Factoryline. Its fully synthetic but cost 33$. Whereas the cheapest and decent one is Mobil1 Mineral 20W40 that Universal motors uses costs 10$. There are a whole host of oils in b/w with synthetic, semi-synthetic and mineral including Motul, Maxima, Mobil, Cheesa, Amsoil, Fuchs, Castrol etc. Choose whatever suits you.

There is an engine oil thread in Phantom Knights that I follow closely, Since Phantom is similar to pulsar in terms of its Engine capacity and also no oil filter, I find their recommendations useful.

Hel braided (ard $80) or King Moto (ard $50) at Unique Motor

Hel front brake pad - at unique Motor

Brembo brake - Unique Motor check CMO

Steering damper - Unique Motor ard 1k (kira did his there and later sold away and taken over by Nofishallowed

End weight dampers - Motovation at Unique Motor

Belly pan - S4 type can do at HKL ard $90 (other option Indon)

Mirrors - S4 type i think .. all small and cute type can't take our bike vibration (stock miror the best)

Custom alum chain guard - not sure but stock is good enough ( Indon rear hugger comes with fiber glass chain guard)

I got a few to do list to be done for this bike...

1) Horn (stock horn too soft)

can get from CMO here.. hella horns.. costs ard $30++, comes with relay

2) Braided Brake Hose

hel or i think kingmoto (cant rem the exact name, alvin what's urs?) costs ard $50-80..

3) Tyres (after run-in will change)

battlelax or dunlop GT.. costs anywhere from $150-250 for both front and rear..

4) Sinnob sprocs

get from mjbs64.. costs depends on shipping.. usually ard $60-80.. if i'm not wrong, p200 is slightly more expensive due to larger sprockets..

5) Brembo master pump

costs ard $300-500.. unique has them.. or random shops ard bukit merah.. the last p200 who installed brembo system was kira who sold his bike to nofish..

6) Steering Damper

this one... depends greatly.. see whr you wana get.. unique has one for about $200.. ah boy has one for $20-30.. ha.. side dampers.. handle dampers?

7) Volt/Gear indicator

get from CMO here.. cheaper and easy to install.. if nt, many bike shops has..

8) Belly Pan

again.. from mjbs64.. we get from indo.. ha.. you can get the s4 belly pan.. get the short type.. it fits p200 nicely.. ard $50-80.. if nt, from indo.. fits perfectly.. of cuz at a price too..

9) Mirrors

stock mirrors are the best.. koso ones vibrate badly on our bikes.. get full metal ones if possible.. costs ard $20-50.. ah boy has super 4 ones for $18.. i'm using those but abit uncle-ish.. but i like cuz its chrome.. :cheeky:

10) Custom made Aluminium Chain Guard

msia has alot.. need to look.. but if you buy rear hugger from indo, it comes with custom made chain guard but its glass fibre.. i'm using those nw..

Got any recommendation ?

Also Engine Oil which brand/model is mroe suitable for P200 and how much mileage to changed?

i use caltex last time but it thins off quickly.. den using mobil one nw.. ard $22 at UM.. can get from ah boy for $18 like mj says.. but depends on which ah boy you talking to..

the mileage of any tire will depend on your riding style, inflation of tire etc

average battalex tires last about 1yr+ to 2yrs

depend on how u ride also, if u brake at longer distance and pickup slower, can last 30k.

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

actually i read about those quite some time back. for the camera, there're actually 2 sensor, 1 b4 the junction n 1 in the junction. i know 1 of them uses electromagnet stuff, so if a huge chunk of metal pass by, it'll be activated. that's why if a bicycle pass thru, it'll never be activated.

addon: it takes 2 sensor to activate the cam, some ppl say lighter bikes might not activate the 2nd sensor which could be a weight sensor.

about the traffic controller sensor which makes the lights go green faster, yes, lighter bikes r not heavy enough to activate the sensor, to make matter worse, the sensor is in the mid of the road, sometimes a bike going to the side will also never activate it. usually happens in night when lighter traffic. but there's another way, alight and press the pedestrian crossing button.

there's a delay in red light cam to activate. so either throttle up and clear the junction quick or e-brake, all depends up to ur experience and judgement. most pros recommend within 3 arrows of the road u throttle up should be able to pass safe, however i only recommend 2. depend on the speed u're travelling too. do be-careful, if u break red light, it might not be 12 pt. they might charge u speeding + inconsiderate driving, end up more than 24 pt.

btw i think u mean dont try this on the road, unless ur home so big for u to ride ur bike around, lol.

Got any recommendation ?

Also Engine Oil which brand/model is mroe suitable for P200 and how much mileage to changed?

1) can get hella horns from cmo thread...pretty loud...

2) brake hose can get hel or kingmoto...hel hose not sure if still have offer at unique...

3) no need to wait till run in...best to change now...battalex,dunlop,michelin,irc,duro...

4) sinnob you will not regret :)

5) can be bought at unique...the guy who tried out 1st was kira...the brembo set now on brandon's bike...

6) kira fitted that also...900 at unique...now with nofishallowed...

7) volt meter can get from cmo thread DIY or just head down to motoworld or unique ...gear indicator no pulsar has it working yet...saw once 1 guy at UM with the indicator but he told me not sure of what happen to the wiring the indicator worked for a few days and not working anymore...

8) can use S4 ones or rxz...or order from uncle mj from indo...like his "sampan" on his splitfire...

9) stock mirrors is the best...with great view and least vibration...other mirrors are small n nic but vibration is a big issue n u can't see much...

10) the P200 stock guard is good...if not can try LAB or AGL...but not sure if those will fit nicely with sinnob...

EO wise is up to your preference...there are a lot of brands that are used here...personally i am using mobil 1 FS...UM selling $22 a bottle...last EO mileage i hit is 3k...EO comes out still quite clean...next 1 will be trying for 3.5k...

on the same topic of vibration, anybody knows how to reduce the mirror vibrate? the images on the mirror are always blurred when throttling.
