does the $10 engine oil wear out faster then the fs oil? my engine feels very hot at high speed.. usually the $10 engine oil wear out at 2.5k... but now it feels like worse... is it time for fs?

just check ur EO, if it's brown or dark brown it's time to change. usually more than 2k confirm need change, syn last longer than normal.

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

IMO dont use the 10$ mineral oil. Last time I used Motul 5100 Semi syn. Already 3K kms and so smooth may last another 1k kms atleast, may be the full 5k that bajaj recommends. What I noticed is even a 3k kms old synthetic/ semi synthetic is much better than brand new mineral oil. That much difference. No more mineral oil for me. Either Semi Synthetic but branded like Motul 5100/ Maxima Synthetic blend or Fully Synthetic Mobil or Chessa Chex.

I went to Motoworld Kaki Bukit yesterday for a riding jacket but didn't buy from them. The Taichi stuff there is good. The Komine 120$ jacket is useless, I don't see how can anyone survive inside one of those things in Singapore weather. Even in air-con I was about to die in 10 minutes.

But then I went to Regina, I think the Rjays mesh jacket there (200$) is the best in the affordable range. Couldn't buy it because they didn't have my size.

Or it is definitely the best amongst the ones that Motoworld decided to show to me. Cos they really were not interested in helping me with the purchase and only showed me like 2 jackets - 1 Taichi and 1 Komine.

Maybe they don't like my face. I don't know whether it's just me, but Motoworld's service is extremely poor. I've been to both Lavender and Kaki Bukit now. Is Motoworld the only and biggest motorcycle apparel shop in Singapore? If it is, then that explains their inaptitude and unwillingness to help customers.
