My older bro is ending his 2b lesson soon. I wish to put his name as a first rider and me as a sub rider on my pulsar. Where can I do this? LTA or any bike shop? At the same time, I wana get another pulsar for commuting around sg. Or maybe get a Hyosung 125?? ….naaahh…..

i think i was quoted $70, cos of the increase in materials. the knox jax was @ $60. how u know P plate get 20%, never knew of that.

 

@Alvin, the back is detachable? i was quite interested but it's also a spare jax, so dont know if want to get it. maybe can mass from him n get cheaper price.

btw they got assorted colours from black to pink, can get 1 for ur gf or wife too.

That one is for cars. Normally they say Car EO not suitable for bikes because in Bikes the EO also lubricates the clutch plates whereas cars have seperate gear oil for the clutch plates. Hence, Car EO may contain friction modifiers which are good for the piston but not good for the clutch and can cause clutch slippage.

 

Now that is all theory. One of my friends used Mobil FS 5 Ltrs oil meant for cars for his phantom and he has no problem at all. Also I read in Indian forum many people use Car EO for their pulsar like Castrol GTX and GTD(thats for diesel cars, lol) and they to have not faced any problem. May be because most of the car eo's may not contain friction modifiers.

 

So its up to you to evaluate whether its worth risking it.

this is common with our bike. no problem with the oil. its the rain that cause the indicator to light up. Once bike is dried it should disappear.
