btw i have some doubts wana clear them..

 

1) i cant seem to find brake oil in the brake oil resovoir.. i dont see the liquid moving when i move the handle bar.. do i need to go top up? the break seems to work fine though..

 

2)my left mirror(stock) cant seem to be adjusted.. but right is ok.. need some lubrication or loosening?

 

3)some times my handle bar wobbles when taking a bend or some times when in 30km/h - 40km/h.. this happens on and off.. need to tighten or check any thing in the handle bar?

 

4)i get this weired but soft sound when traveling in 5th gear (well u can say the very softer version of the engine knocking* sound.. like in low RPM 2K-3K but 4th or 5th gear).. this happens when RPM is below 6K and speed around 70km/h.. but once RPM is above 6K i cant hear it / dont hear cuz of the engine noise.. engine cant be knocking at 70kmh right?

 

what do u guys can advice me for the above from ur valuable experience?

1) Brake oil, not break oil. If its works fine, then leave it.

 

2) Spray some little lubricant. Some parts might be rusty abit.

 

3) Common issue. Just loosen and tighten back the center nut of the handle bar. Ask a mech if u not sure.

 

4) Is it like a whistling sound? If it is, it might be the bearing. The bike will loose power when the bearing breaks. This will happen unexpectedly. It might require overhaul. Just ride as usual for the time being. Ask the mech if u not sure.

yea, all of them going @150-300km/h, esp the 1800ug3, rocket @400km/h, i only see smoke when they hit the highway.

Incident Number Two on my Conquistador.

 

I went in to JB earlier in the afternoon for some work. I also pumped petrol and was on my way back around 4 p.m. As I reached the customs, these kapchai riders started crowding around me (like the Malaysian riders generally do, no offence but I don't think that is the way to ride). Anyway, this kapchai rider squeezed on left suddenly as I was approaching Singapore customs and caused me to loose balance.

 

There was a small ankle-high lane divider and my bike jumped on top. And then I balance on top like SSDC narrow plank practice (!) and then my bike eventually fell to the side. Lucky enough, I didnt loose complete balance and did not topple over, otherwise would have been hit by another of these bee-like kapchai riders from behind.

 

Anyhow, suspension, wheel and fork alignment does not seem to be damaged. But I think I bumped something at the bottom of the bike(near the engine) and dunno if something's wrong there. It was raining and when I reach back to my place, noticed the oil light on (as it always is when its raining), and some fumes rising out of my engine and pipe (no smell). Dont know if something is burning inside my engine or maybe simply rain + hot engine = fumes?

 

 

check on your bike again 2ml morning

see if there is any leak under or ard the engine area
