Last I inquired, a Shadow ACE 400's exhaust will cost about S$600. You can also get it over eBay for Shadow ACE 750 as they are the same. If you can get it under US$100 including shipping to vPost US, you can bring it in under S$500 including vPost shipping. You can also try Chong Aik and FJT

Ebay is a good idea. If fix a ACE 750 exhaust wouldn't he fail the inspection?

I know some bigger cc bike has got exact fitment with their smaller cc counterparts, I ever rode a SV400 and put on a SV600 stock exhaust. The inspector fail me on the spot during inspection.. I dont know if the ruling has changed, but while inspection wouldn't i fail the test? Coz it is not meant for my bike thou it is a stock production..

Don't know about SV exhausts but the Shadow 400 is actually designed for 750s and thus they are identical in many ways with displacement being the only difference.... I think. You can inquire at Boon Siew about the exhaust and see if they are the same.

there is a 2001 shadow 400 for sale at universal.... too exp for me tho.....

sorry for posting so many questions lately.....

 

I know someone mentioned that the 750 and 400 ACE are generally similar ....small differences in the engine and air filter.....

 

So am i right to assume the frame is the same??

 

jsut wanna confirm this as i saw so many accessories for the 750 ace online.....

Yup. Indeed it is but, do note that you should purchase accessories meant for Shadow Ace and not Shadow Aero.

Hi guys.... wondering if anyone here got a fix for the failure of the button that toggles between odometer and trip mileage?

 

I have seen one shadow with a red button that looks like those used by scooters....pity i didn't get to talk to the owner.

 

was wondering if anyone had a fix for it that that allows me to keep the original look??....

 

Can i also try and get a copy of the Shadow Ace 400 manual?

Older version of Shadow ACE 750 and 1100 are chain driven. :sweat:
