Just brought my bike for a full servicing plus new front tyre =)

 

yepp, let's test out YK newly brought device. Garmin GPS!! Trip to Hatyai or Nowhere.

 

Hatyai 2 nites more than enuff, we can come back on sat.

we r going to betong starting on the 30th dec 2359hrs till 2 jan meeting at gp esso with 2 other class 2b bike.... 18 hrs ride both ways

Uncle Lu suggested dining at a nice, scenic eatery set in the "countryside" of the east -- Farmway, Pasir Ris -- this coming Sat.

 

Diners can enjoy foodcourt-priced food on a platform above a pond.

 

Anyone interested?

Do ensure the device time and zone (GMT +8) is set properly and run it for a full 15 minutes once it gets a GPS fix for the first time ... This is required for future start-ups to be faster - I'm working on GPS right now so I'm aware of this tip. :)

Hi all,

 

Extending this to whoever that is keen. Word of advice, it is not an easy trek.

 

Theme : Surviving Rinjani

Location : Rinjani, Lombok Island

Date : 05th - 10th April, 2009

Purpose : To trek up Gunung Rinjani (an active volcano - but no activity)

: To provide support/education/care/basic necessities to the local folks.

 

Cost : about SGD 780 per pax

I told him yes.. but now cant. Going away till sat night.. by time reach sg. dun think have the energy to enjoy the scenery. Will text uncle Lu later, will join another time. Happy New Year.

Money: credit card, 20 pieces of M$1 , cashcard, Msian tollcard

Clothes: Rain gear, go thailand buy tshirt

Naviagation: GPS but haven got thailand map yet i think.... else old style Compass...

waterprroof plastics for hphone, passport...

 

slow n easy ride...can eat potato chip while riding ...

unfortunately (and fortunately) only God can speak things into existance

 

let's meet up with the new friends this week for dinner.. suggest gillman a more central location. wait for yk to come back from KL first.

 

brought this up to him last week n ended up, we landed in hatyai.. lol with some mis-read of sms on my part.

 

Has been a great trip and ride. A new beginning 2010, with my roaming not working for me, it has been a true vacation for me.

Oy, I may be lazy @ times but not "darned lazy" hor. I've just reformatted my PC; once again. Yet to reinstall some applications.

 

Gillman? What to eat?

 

I suggest Farmway, Pasir Ris coz' Lu has "discovered" a wonderful place for dining. Cost is not too steep for me too. :cheeky: Gee, it's not a sin to be in e lower strata of wealth, right? Want to laugh @ me, laugh lor. Want to sneer also can, just don't be poorer than me.
