Hi all tyre experts for 400cc bikes, I'm currently riding a 400cc motard, does the weight affect the wear of the tyres dramatically when comapring a 400cc sportsbike with the lighter motard whichi s about max, 150 kg?

I'm considering using gpr70 but so far, only sportbikes riders complain that it wears out faster. some motard riders have used it for close to a year, more than 10,000km.

the weight of the bike, as well as the pressure used will affect the wear of the tire

I'm using GPR70SP. I believe you've seen me ride on track. (We met that Thursday, remember?) Grip is really great. No sliding even when I pushed my CBR400 to the limit. My knee sliders are already grinding away, but the tyres still have a little bit more allowance to corner lower.

On street - 33 psi front / 33 psi rear (no pillion) / 35 psi rear (pillion)

On track - 30 psi front / 30 psi rear

I have ran more than 3000km on my current set tyres and went to three track sessions and a few Second Link top speed runs. The tyres are still holding up great, even in the wet.
