Hi fellow Singapore bikes forum members, I am alex and I represent Kai Guan Company. from our long time business of dealing with various sorts of bearings, Kai Guan Company now carries in products from Red Line Synthetic Oil Corporation, which include motor oils, gear oils, fuel additives, and its popular WaterWetter cooling additive for the automotive, motorcycle and industrial markets. We are conducting this market survey on the demand of these products currently and your feedback is very important to us. Whether these products are being sold end of the day very much depend on you guys. We also ensure that the prices of these products will be competitive on the market to cater for all bike users. We seek your understanding not to treat this poll system for entertainment thank you.

Below are some products from Red Line that Kai Guan Company is interested in bringing them in. a picture of the product and a short description is given. you can refer to http://www.redlineoil.com for other products not listed in this poll system.

Why Redline?

Red Line formulates fully-synthetic oils and chemically-advanced additives using the world’s finest base stocks (POLYOL ESTER). Rather than cutting costs by blending in petroleum products, Red Line's motor oils and gear oils use superior ester base stocks that provide extreme stability at high temperatures and superior film strength at lower viscosities where more power can be produced.

Motor Oil Series

Two-Stroke Oil

Red Line Oil’s popular two-stroke lubricants contain base oils which have the highest film strength and greatest affinity for hot metal. Because Red Line is a superior high temperature lubricant, it can be used at lower fuel to oil ratios, increasing power and providing excellent scuff protection and cleanliness. Where many two stroke oils are recommended to run at 32:1, many Red Line customers often mix their fuel at a leaner, 40:1. Red Line provides the lubricating qualities of castor oil, but provide exceptional cleanliness, with low carbon residue that dramatically reduces plug fouling and smoke. Red Line provides special protection for reformulated fuels. Dyno proven to make more power over longer periods of operating time.

Two Stroke Racing Oil Bottle Package: 16oz = 0.473Litres This product would be roughly retailing at about $14.00

The ultimate in two-cycle performance - provides improved power and perfect cleanliness. Power improvements of 3-5% have been obtained in dyno tests. The high-temperature stability prevents deposits in even the hottest upper ring and piston crown areas. Suggested for use at 50:1, but can be used richer or leaner, up to 100:1 depending on the type of engine and its operating conditions. Provides unequalled protection in motorcycles and marine engines as a premix or injection oil.

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y219/lancerevo34/Redline%20Motorcycle/AllSportTwoStrokeOil.jpg

All Sport Two Stroke Oil Bottle Package: 16oz = 0.473Litres This product would be roughly retailing at about $12.00

A biodegradable lubricant designed for air or watercooled performance engines which require a low-ash oil, not an NMMA TC-W3 lubricant. Better production of power, scuff protection and bearing protection compared to petroleums and other synthetics and it’s incredibly clean. Perfect for reformulated and oxygenated fuels.

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y219/lancerevo34/Redline%20Motorcycle/Two-CycleSmokelessOil.jpg

Two-Cycle Smokeless Oil Bottle Package: 16oz = 0.473Litres Due to poor respone on the voting. We have no intention to bring them in.

All Red Line two cycle lubricants are very low smoke products, but with smoke is virtually non-existent with this blend. Recommended where smoke reduction is essential.

Four-Stroke Oils

As part of Red Line’s all-new Powersports line, these High Peformance Motorcycle Oils are fully-synthetic formulas specifically created for the high demands of the latest high-revving four-strokes motocross bikes and ATVs, Sportbikes, and V-Twins. Available in popular viscosities of 10W40, 20W50, and 20W60, these ester-based products contain the anti-wear chemistry demanded by mechanics and enthusiasts.

The levels of zinc and phosphorus blended into these lubricants are among the highest in the industry and combine well with Red Line’s chemistry, designed to seal piston rings for more power, fight fuel dilution, extend drain interval and provide stronger film strength over a range of temperature. This oil also features lower levels of friction modifiers for superior wet clutch operation. Excellent thermal stability, oxidation resistance, cleanliness, and ability to lubricate hot metal make Red Line High Performance Motor Oil a superior lubricant. Recommended for JASO MB, API SJ, SG, & SH.

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y219/lancerevo34/Redline%20Motorcycle/10W30MotorcycleOil.jpg

10W30 Motorcycle Oil Bottle Package: 1Quart = 0.946Litres This product would be roughly retailing at about $22.00

Designed for the latest-high revving four-stroke motocross and ATV engines, as well as for four-cylinder and V-Twin Sportbikes that specify a 10W30 motor oil.

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y219/lancerevo34/Redline%20Motorcycle/10W40MotorcycleOil.jpg

10W40 Motorcycle Oil Bottle Package: 1Quart = 0.946Litres This product would be roughly retailing at about $22.00

Designed for the latest-high revving four-stroke motocross and ATV engines, as well as for four-cylinder and V-Twin Sportbikes that specify a 10W40 motor oil.

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y219/lancerevo34/Redline%20Motorcycle/20W50MotorcycleOil.jpg

20W50 Motorcycle Oil Bottle Package: 1Quart = 0.946Litres This product would be roughly retailing at about $22.00

Designed for the latest Big-Twin motorcycle engines that specify 20W50 motor oil, including Evos (’84-up) and V-Rod.

ShockProof® Gear Oil

A unique lubricant containing a suspension of solid microscopic particles as an extreme pressure agent--unique solid dispersion which cushions gear teeth to help prevent tooth breakage and allows the use of lower viscosities.

Acting like a liquid grease, the viscosity characteristics of ShockProof® allow the lubricants to resist throwoff and provide the protection of a greater film thickness with relatively light fluid viscosity, offering a "best of both worlds" balance of low drag and superior protection.

ShockProof® products work in a variety of differential and transmissions, however, should not be used with pumps, filters, and with small lines--these fluids are designed wet sump or splash type lubrication.

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y219/lancerevo34/Redline%20Motorcycle/V-TwinTransmissionOilwithShockProof.jpg

V-Twin Transmission Oil with ShockProof® Bottle Package: 1Quart = 0.946Litres This product would be roughly retailing at about $24.00

Similar to Red Line's Heavy ShockProof®, V-Twin Transmission Oil with ShockProof® provides unequalled protection for both stock and aftermarket American V-Twin transmissions.

This product dampens transmission noise (reducing the notorious shifting “clunk” found in these gearboxes), dramatically reduces temperature, provides thicker oil films between gear teeth and completely resists throw-off. It is compatible with petroleums and synthetics.

The viscosity characteristics allow the lubricant to resist throwoff and provide a film thickness similar to a 75W250 grade, while providing the same low fluid friction as an SAE 75W90.

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y219/lancerevo34/Redline%20Motorcycle/80WMotorcycleGearOilwithShockProof.jpg

80W Motorcycle Gear Oil with ShockProof® Bottle Package: 1Quart = 0.946Litres This product would be roughly retailing at about $24.00

Designed for applications like two-stroke motocross bikes, shifter karts, the CRF 250 450 transmission. Used where an 80W oil is called for, ShockProof's microscopic solid medium provides cushioning between gear teeth, while maintaining lower drag. Reduces the thinning effect from high temperatures.

Provides the balanced slipperiness necessary for consistent shifting and proper wet-clutch operation.

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y219/lancerevo34/Redline%20Motorcycle/CompleteFuelSystemCleanerforMotorcy.jpg

Complete Fuel System Cleaner for Motorcycles Bottle Package: 4oz = 0.118Litres This product would be roughly retailing at about $10.00

Based on the popular and proven SI-1 Complete Fuel System Cleaner, this 4oz bottle is scaled for use in the motorcycle application. Simply pour one bottle into a street bike, dirt bike, ATV, or PWC for quick clean-up and let its concentrated detergents clean your carburetor(s) or fuel injectors, fuel lines, tank, and related components. This product goes beyond conventional detergents, providing a chemical package not found in pump gas, race fuel, or traditional additive products.

Complete Fuel System Cleaner for Motorcycles is compatible with both pump gas and race fuel, also performing in pre-mixed or injected two-stroke applications. It contains intense, high-temp detergents for cleaning deposits on intake valve and combustion chambers to reduce octane demand and regain lost power and improve fuel economy, This product also lubricates the upper cylinder, helps prevent detonation, cleans emission control systems (safe for the latest catalytic converters and sensors), helps eliminate hesitation and stalling, and works to prevent fouled plugs.

The recommended dosage is 1 bottle per tank for quick cleanup. This concentrated product can also be used regularly in small doses as preventative maintenance.

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y219/lancerevo34/Redline%20Motorcycle/SuperCoolwithWaterWetter.jpg

SuperCool with WaterWetter Bottle Package: 64oz = 1.892Litres This product would be roughly retailing at about $30.00

SuperCool with WaterWetter® (80205) is a pre-mixed coolant for motorcycles, ATVs, karts, generators, and other small water-cooled engines. This product doubles the wetting ability of water to improve heat transfer and reduce cylinder head temperature.

Compatible with all glycol antifreeze and coolants, this product is blended with deionized and purified water and WaterWetter®, the most effective heat transfer agent available with corrosion inhibitors to satisfy the same ASTM corrosion tests which glycol-based antifreezes are designed to pass (ASTM D2570 and ASTM D1384). Red Line's WaterWetter® provides excellent rust and corrosion protection for modern cast iron, aluminum, and brass systems.

Use with a long-life antifreeze if freezing temperatures are to be encountered. This product does not contain anti-freeze and its freezing point is 32ºF or 0ºC. Available in 1/2-Gallon containers.

i 2nd the part abt having prices up. i've heard gd reviews of red line and been wanting to try them but sadly, the prices i've got r rather high compared to the usual brand tht i use

hi redname, understand the problem on pricing. it might be slightly just abit higher than the usual common brand you are using which i hope so after i get my price list. i can pair redline as one of the better oil like in e range of motul. of coz to be able to bring down the price we might sell direct to end user instead to distribute to pass this saving to you guys

would be good to have a rough pricelist. I know its not cheap but it would still be nice to have a rough idea of the prices.

hi mrkiasu

in regard to pricing, i would need to consult the relevant mods if this is allow to be posted here. i do not wish to have any conflict with the other paid vendors. but if my price is attractive. i will seek andy to a paid advertiser and post in my relevant folder for pre ordering of the redline products

Hi fellow singapore bikes forum members, i have updated with the rough recommended retail price.

we value your feeback! let us know what you think thanks!

Well, I think it'll be good to offer to deliver free to customers, provided they order a certain amount of the products, think this will help boost the interest!

Also maybe can charge a small fee for delivery if below the amount required. Just a thought!

yes this is already in my plan too.

what you think is a fair amount of purchase to entitle free delivery?

so if the amount is below required? what is a small fee you are willing to pay for the service?

Think maybe you start a new thread in the Accessories section... the Polls section is quite down below, maybe people seldom notice the discussion here.

Anyway maybe free delivery if purchase 1 carton worth of oil, and delivery fee I don't really know the market rate, maybe flat fee of $10~20?

hi william it is not that i do not want to start a new thread but it will deem as spamming by the mods. so i guess i have to paitently wait for replys. i will take note of your feedback thanks

hi ghost

i understand where you are coming from. the waterwetter is a concentrated solution that is meant to be used together with distilled water. my understanding is that even in motorcar, most of the wrkshop just use tap-water and pour in waterwetter. (that is what they did with my car too la haha) in this case, it is not recommended because tap-water have purities in it. that is why i have the intention to bring in the supercool waterwetter which is a premix solution that is ready to use. just flush out and pour in. slightly more expensive than the concentrated waterwetter but beats having the problem of a radiator failure right? :thumb:

regards.
