seems like excel rating pretty bad unlike what is mention in the motor rating. good comments... maybe mi doubt if wanna buy bike from there liaoz.... so difficult to find mito now.

Have a bit of patience, dun confine yourself to just a few motor shop...trust me i made a BIG mistake buying frm EXCEL juz bcoz i was rushing to get one. I am very sure that there are other mitos lying around. Juz spend a day scouting the island to land yourself a good deal. ok bro. gd luck.

I never buy bike from shops but from private sellers because they are much cheaper. So far I've always been going back to exc*l neva kena anything serious or kena choped. Juz that i neva buy bike frm there b4

btw i think pleasure motor(nxt to ahboy WORKSHOP) MIGHT hav mito..not sure..they specialise in rs250s tho.the boss owns a mv agusta 1000 ! F*****g sweet!

Sols: Hmm...I think you'd better stop touching anything electrical on a Mito. PS: My bike is still not running properly.

 

Espido: My guess about Pleasure Motor is that if the owner rides a continental, and his shop is one of the few which specialises in RS250, chances are he/his mechanics would be interested in doing a Mito. Might try them one day.

There's a really knackered yellow mito at pleasure motorsports, i don't really know what it's doing there, but it looks ready for the junkyard. They do service mitos but i was told the parts are hard to get. Check out http://www.pleasuremotorsports.com.sg

pleasure moto seems like a decent place..they hav dynos and stuff.very very professional...my elder bro got his sp there..my dad chatted wit the boss..very intellectually well-mannered guy..haha.

 

one time..one of my campmates hu rides a rs125 asked the mech "so..how come i dun see u guys ard rounding..?"" then the mech said..."rounding? huh...no lah we go track..."...my friend immediatly turned red...haha

 

raf: the rs250 group at pleasure motor goes to track quite very often..accordin to the mech(he was part of the group)...now he owns a ktm...and goes offrd in MS wit it...u could join them...

RD what? 350? haha... i wanna put an RD 350 engine into the mito leh... can right?

 

that means i buy an RD350 and let LTA know that i wanna swap engine right? then have to scrap either bikes right?

 

or is it only possible with same models?

If you guys been wondering, its been done for quite sometime. Just buy engine mounts and some conversion kits. That's the easy part. but welding the engine mounts and configuring the electrical parts seems like a mess.

the problem is making it legal... lol...

 

i know in SG, if wanna change engine, can either swap engines or buy new engine then inform LTA cos Log card need to change engine number...

 

Problem is can i swap engines from different bikes... haha... I highly doubt so...

 

Anyway, I'm just crapping lah... hahahaha... so bo liao go swap engine... lol...
