mito has one of the best handlings in 2B sportsbikes but they lack the power...

i always go to the '99 curves' at south bouna vista rd behind my skool to practice my cornerings and though the handling is superb, my mito always lack the power and momentum after a turn...

just a piece of thought...

Well can't expect much from a 125 cc Sportbike. But producing 34bhp from 125cc is already damn good considering 150cc sportbikes are also producing the bhp in the 30+ region.

As Mito power only comes at high revs, below 5-6k rpm there's really 'nothing goin on'.

34bhp? That's for the 7 gear one right? I think the newer 6 gear one is weaker than that. Because I remember reading somewhere, doing Wheelie on the newer Mitos are much harder, because power not really there and its heavy.

the newer mitos are also 30+...

its just 2000 that is 16... or so they say in some uk mag...

anyway... you want the "umph" when coming out of corner esp at places like 99, keep your rev at about 7-8krpm... come out of the corner sure still got alot of power to drag...

From then to now...

I've read those UK mags, in the UK, for the 6 gear ones there are 15bhp ristricted for learners and the Full 33Bhp for full license holders. But however, according to reviews the 34bhp 7 gear ones still delivers the bigger kick.:cheer:

But i was thinking.. What if i change my block to a new one? Does that engine have 34bhp or 16bhp? If change new block the power is 16bhp.. I'll be the first mito7 with 16 bhp..

dun worry la bro.. its the engine.. n exhuast etc.. not the block.. if u wan u can big bore ur block till estimating 150cc.. its really power.. mine with arrow same pickup with the 1 with big bore with pillon summore.. but of coz.. gd thing doesnt last.. the guy or ba kak when both his block n piston went down on him..

How many of you Mitos actually move on to Class 2A. I don't really plan to. I want to keep my Mito until the COE totally end. 2009! Lol! Or maybe jump straight to Class 2.
