i would like to buy a mito but im afraid that if the bike breaks down, i got to wait for freaking 2 to 3 months before my parts will arrive. Is it true? I really love the CAGIVA MITO and i'm considering the RS 125 because at least its much more easier to find its parts compared to MITO.

PS: i just love italian bikes. they are so cool!

never ever follow what people say about italian bike coz i bet 90% of them nv try italian bikes. just because it's italian doesnt mean parts high maintenance.

Erm, long as you don't buang or piston jam, it's more than worth the money.

Don't compare fuel consumption, you get what you pay for. It's the difference between looking on the commute to and from work simply as a hassle; and actually looking forward to the ride on your Mito. And the difference between feeling shy about riding a bike when others are driving cars; and feeling proud that you prefer the freedom of riding, and in fact riding in style on an Italian sportsbike.

There will always be people who say that Italian bikes are expensive, or can't understand why you ride. They're the same people who either have never owned one, or tried one and then gave up without trying to understand it or get it to work properly; or just plain don't have the inclination (read: balls) to ride.

Just make an honest assessment of your finances, and once committed, don't let others sway you like the wind will try to sway you when you're cutting through the wind on your Mito.

Dude, I can attest to that when I see your riding style. "Like wind", I must say. :p

Good morning all!

I am Reaper and I hope you don't mind me hijacking your thread and joining you guys here! I have a few pieces of advice though, if you don't mind me speaking freely?

1) It's good to see that the Italian bikers are getting more and more active. And since the Aprilians have already organised themselves and created a club, have you ever thought of having a club of your own? Instead of just having a few bikes gather every now and then?

2) I have just started a new motorcycle accessories business and am willing to extend the same special discounts to the Mito riders as I am offering the ARC should you all be interested in getting anything from me.

3) The technical knowledge that most of you have right now is quite warped due to the incompetence of many mechs in Singapore. My biz is also conducting a few seminars to educate the public and teach them what proper maintenance is and how things actually work. Do give me a buzz if you are interested in making your bike perform better. (Nothing to do with modification. Just simple stuff.) =)

4) Mito riders are very rarely seen on the roads and I would love to support the formation and upkeep of a Mito Riders Club. Perhaps someone would contact me and we can discuss how we can gather the Mito riders, increase awareness of the club presence and perhaps, get some sponsors for the club.

I apologise if I may seem too blunt when conveying my message and will appreciate it if you would PM me your comments should you find it offensive or inappropriate. Am still learning to be as civil as I possibly can when posting messages. Thank you!

i really love mito and the rs125 and i know that italian bike parts are expensive. but im more concerned about the availability of the parts rather than the price. i wouldnt mind paying more rather than waiting for 3 months.

i heard that there is a bike shop near SAFRA tampines which carries Mito parts. is this true?

Hmmnn... I think you're better off sticking with First Motor.

Don't know about any Tampines shop but FM would be the best and only place for your Mito.

An alternative would be Minerva Motors which carries Ducati and Cagiva parts at a premium.

it's alive!!!

whoa. now like got lotsa new mito riders. i might be letting go mine to upgrade too. soo. anyone can just PM me yeahh.

pardon me if i'm going to ask a very nooby question but how expensive are mito parts really are.

i have never been to FM to survey their parts so could anybody give us a rough idea on how expensive the parts are?
