Yes, I will try my best to get accessories for you. Though my list of items right now are very limited. And ARC stands for Aprilia Riders Club. Not levers of any kind. *smile*

Do let me know if there is by any chance that the Mito riders would like to meet up with me and we can discuss details. *smile*

pardon me if i'm going to ask a very nooby question but how expensive are mito parts really are.

i have never been to FM to survey their parts so could anybody give us a rough idea on how expensive the parts are?

Parts are roughly 2-3 times the price of sp/krr original parts. About there lo.... Maintenance I think is the same as 2b sportbikes, though I never ride before other 2b sportsbikes.

i thot of changing 34mm carb before for more kick. but they advise me not to coz firstly, FC naik. and then u need to tune ur 2T pump. if not, more fuel, less 2T, u know what'll happen. stock is still the best, coz it's the one which is intended to be used, as in it fixed the requirement.

sooo... rather than changing carb, maybe port block? hahahah.

I'd rather get a Leo Vince than a Louis Vuitton.

> Honestly, I have changed from a 28mm carb to a 34mm carb on my '06rs and yes, there is quite a change in my fuel consumption. But not something I would complain about. I used to run at 31km/litre on my 28mm carb after I tuned it, and now I am running on 27km/litre on my 34mm carb. However, 27km/litre is still running rich. I will still be able to add on a arrow/gianelli street legal exhaust system without having to change my jetting much.

With regard to 2T pump settings, you don't really need that much of a change. If you're running on completely stock settings (including 2T pump settings), you would probably need to turn the dial about 2 turns more and that should suffice. I'm actually running on those settings for a intended track session. Has been tried and tested on roads.

sooo... rather than changing carb, maybe port block? hahahah.

> Porting your block would give you more power definately. It will also change your engine/valve timings as well. However, you would probably need to find a mech that really knows what he is doing or he may botch the job and you end up with a ported engine that seems more powerful, but is actually not running at what it probably can run at.

Think about it. =)

i'll definitely volunteer to make one IF i manage to get my hands on a mito

a deep red polo with a white cagiva logo on the left breast and a white "mito" at the back would be nice :lovestruck:

i'd go for the engine and the rest first, and the outlook last. i dun mind moulding fairings rather than overhaul and wait.

btw, fairings for mito, i think, especially the quite old ones, sure have cracks n all, especially if the owner goes to track or suay suay everytime kiss road one. but these cracks can be covered by painting back the whole bike am i right to say?

yea thats true...

however its hard to tell if there are any good condition mitos esp in our country

in pretty much of a dilemna now as whether to get the rs125 or a mito

i think most of the mitos here are the same. i think we usually use the same 2T *motul or esso gold or maxima* and basically, the rest of the maintenance are all the same. each n every mito has their ups n downs. cant expect all to be the same rite? heh.
