im not sure how much i should let go.. bought it at 175 from bike dynamic.. how much are you willing to pay?? anybody knows where can i get 150/50??.. syarif.. the arrow full system in the garage is for rs.. it would be funny for mito to have left exhaust.. yanwei, i was thinking if i could let go of my bike and get your bike.. too bad im under hire purchase.. where can i get big bore kit?? just got to know that my mito is the 1994 mito ev 7 gear model.... wasnt the 1993 mk2.. just some confusion with the gearing ratio...

try fm, just got mine from there.. my bike is done.. big hole in pocket liao.. now waiting from my fairings.. anybody knows how much does mito clutch plate cost??.. my gears tends to slip and grind above rpm 7..

called them already but they don't have sad case man... my bike also going to done liaoz... IF those parts never break down just need to repair my fork change my Bearing chain spocket and last but not least VALVE MOTOR!! MUAHAHAHA! waiting for that day

$150.. umm.. but after cahnging, it's best to use gear oil insead of 4t.. i think. maximise the life.

rock oil is the brand itself. there's rockoil 2t if im not wrong. FM recommend rock oil becoz, u know, just look at the posters, u know they LOVE rockoil. hearde they've been using it for a long long time. n i know there's alot of people using it coz of its very high quality.

 

 

still, i'd prefer using motul. =)

Gear oil and 4T are designed differently. 4T is designed to run thru and lubricate both the engine and the gearbox. Basically for a 2-stroke machine. Gear oils are designed to lubricate the clutch and gearbox efficiently and not the engine. Hence, the oil is designed to be slightly thinner and will run smoother. However, the oil will breakdown very quickly if you use it on a 4-stroke machine.

 

I would say that the oil is the reason why my bke is smooth. My clutch plates are unchanged ever since I bought the bike a year ago and I have already run about 30k clicks on it.

 

From a personal point of view, I have tried many other brands of gearoil and have never been able to perform a seamless clutchless upshifting technique except when I use Silkolene SRG75. Hence, that is why I stick to SRG75 and determined for myself that it is a very good oil with great protection for my bike and yet giving me the smooth riding feeling that I want.

 

Another point is that I change my gearoil every 1500km-2000km. I do NOT change it on a timeframe basis. Timeframes are very inaccurate to determine if you should change your oils or not. Sometimes you travel far, sometimes not as much. So this inconsistency can be bad if you travel beyond what your gearoils can take. And so far, only SRG75 is able to come out of my gearbox as a gold colour oil (close to original colour) when I bleed my gearoil. When I use other brands, they break down so fast that the oil is black and charred (with a smoky and burnt smell) when I bleed it.
